Some leftovers from a past bundle.

So umm look up a game called Soul Saber 2 on Steam.
Dat one screenshot...

Extreme high speed (rip off)teamwork action has arrived on Steam, in the form of a shooting game!

I'm guessing that's a reference to what looks like clothing damage, but "extreme high speed ripoff team action" totally needs to be a thing now. Like a game about high-speed smash and grab robberies.

A sign of the apocalypse.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gog_and_Magog

The Gog prophecy is meant to be fulfilled at the approach of what is called the "end of days", but not necessarily the end of the world. Jewish eschatology viewed Gog and Magog as enemies to be defeated by the Messiah, which will usher in the age of the Messiah. Christianity's interpretation is more starkly apocalyptic: making Gog and Magog allies of Satan against God at the end of the millennium, as can be read in the Book of Revelation.

So metal \m/

Well, apparently I overdid it a little with ALCHEMY TIME after I got my ass kicked by the final boss in Atelier Sophie.
Because the rematch was entirely onesided as well. For my side this time.

So yeah, Sophie completed, theorethically just in time for Firis (but I'm not sure if I'll get it on release).
There are still some optional bosses left however and I haven't unlocked all the alchemy recipes yet.
Strolled a bit around afterwards and came across one of those optional bosses.

Weeeellll...
I essentially turned my guys and girls into zombies so the boss couldn't kill them fast enough, but he had insane lifesteal which I couldn't outdamage either.
The result was an endless deadlock where neither side could kill the other and I had to hard quit the game.
Yeah, that was certainly annoying.

I knew Judaism and Islam had a lot in common, but I never really realised it was this much. Which begs the question why the fuck we can't get along. Oh well, another discussion for another day.

One problem is Abraham's first two sons did not have the same mother. From there, all kinds of differences arise and some people get upset about who is the most rightful.

Today i played Dishonored 2 for two and a half hours straight. I can't remember when i played game more than hour to hour and a half. And more interesting thing is that i spent those two and a half hours on Mission 3 and i still didn't finish that mission.
Yeah, a game keeping me invested enough for over an hour or longer in one sitting is my personal "Seal of Quality" these days as well lol.

Judaism, Islam and Christianity basically all worship the same God and share a lot of the same mithology.

Basically

Judaism, Christianity, Islam - the 3 great Abrahamic faiths. What I find really odd is that, as I understand it, in Islam Mohammad is dead forever, his work is done, but Jesus will come back at the end times to wage the final battle.

Mohammed is a prophet, Jesus is supposed to actually be god. So they aren't really comparable

Look at Xbone and PS4 - they are basically just PCs.
Doesn't stop their users from treating us like dirty portbeggars.
Just human nature.

your avatar game fas fallen off a cliff and broken every bone in its body the last few weeks. Get your act together man!

:(

Dammit, someone's used up all my old humble gift codes. How on earth do they do that without hacking into my account?

Are you sure you didn't give them away? ;)

Is Saoirse going to play Hillary Clinton?
We all know a movie is being made, she looks pretty much the part.

Well, she's a US citizen by birth, is gifted with accents and expressed her disapproval of Trump, so maybe!

Cool looking 2d fighter Trajes Fatais still being worked on. I really wish that Brazillian studios stopped using Portuguese names for their shit tho (something I've noticed most do), why would you make your stuff LESS global is beyond me.

I didn't think that was quite true -- Jesus is another prophet but he's been in stasis for millennia until he comes back to destroy the anti-Christ, after which he rules on Earth for a long time and then dies. It still seems odd that Mohammed is venerated above all other mortals when Jesus seems to have a more important role.

In Christian theology, Jesus is actually god, which is why he can't actually die. I've heard some Muslims consider him a minor prophet, but I'm not that familiar with how that works.

Religion replaced Anime.
It was bound to happen -- after all, for some people they're the same thing.

Everything I've said relates to my understanding of these figures in Islam.

Soooo what do we think is the deal with that Nier trailer? They just don't want to reveal the PC release date due to some agreement with Sony or just some screwup?

Both have lost twice.

Ouch.

Too young to play anything other than a young Hillary... but that could work.

Meryl Streep, on the other hand, is so good I could actually see her playing the roles of both modern-day Clinton and Trump in the same film. Make it happen, Hollywood.

Reverse Crawl, terrible name aside, is pretty cool, really enjoying it.

Only in Christianity is Jesus is seen as God, and at the same time the son of God (that holy trinity stuff hurts my brain). Not in Judaism and Islam.

In fact, Jews consider him to be a false Messiah, one of many, and more often than not despise him. On the other hand, Muslims consider him to be the true Messiah and he's considered one of the most important and beloved prophets (alongside Mozes and Muhammed). In Islam, Jesus never died but instead temporarily went to Heaven (or another plain of existence, if you will) only to return during the end-times.

Pretty interesting to see a lot of overlapping (like the earlier mentioned Gog and Magog), but also some very distinctive differences. Anyway, that concludes ReligionGAF, lol. Back to Steam.
