Nope its because he was in the Superfriends and Johns watched it as a kid. Plus Johns wanted a designated tech guy and like Martian Manhunter, Firestorm Atom etc cant do that

Probably separate. I'm not convinced a Freeze skin would work well. It depends on how they design Cold. Although, I wouldn't pick Freeze as a separate character either. So whatever, as long as it's done well.

I know I honestly would prefer 100 chars over him but was thinking of how they can make him play differently and seems quite easy
Look at it from a Batman and Lex ability both Billionairs who are super Intellects that use technology to make up for their lack of powers
Captain Cold would be the Batman of the Ice World
While Lex would be the Freeze
In superfriends he was more like the six million dollar man and less like he is now. He sorta fills the role of a voice activated bat computer and the unfortunate living door inhuman that acts as transportation. It felt like he had a much better purpose as a teen Titan or even a Titan mentor then being on the justice league.

That's his other major role, and the role of all characters that are robots or can regenerate. Having limbs broken off.

2 birds, one stone and all that jazz. He gets a character he "loves" and adds a black guy to the League to avoid controversy, at least, they thought they'd avoid it.
They're nothing alike as fighting game characters, and apart from communicating with plant life (which they use in different ways), they have different powers. Swamp Thing has super strength, he can grow copies of himself, and he can grow plants out of his body, and Poison Ivy can secrete toxins.
Poison Ivy fights when she has to, and being a pacifist has never kept someone out of a fighting game. Some of the most fun and interesting characters in the genre are unconventional non-combatants.

ST and Poison Ivy probably have a part to play in the story. The Green seems to be a big component in this game, especially with the other leaked character

The only Teen Titans I read was The New Teen Titans from the 80s and I can't remember much about that aside from the Judas Contract and Nightwings disco suit.
Vic and Diana have awful portrayals in this series but they're the sacrificial lambs so that Superman isn't alone on his side.
I miscounted and left out Black Adam which made me believe Freeze was his own character. I'm now confident that Freeze is a premiere skin. It would be weird for him to be the only one though, I wonder who else will be a premiere skin in the base game.

It was the console reveal of Cyborg.
Most of the ones who didn't die in the nuke like Gar were sent to the Phantom Zone by Superman as punishment for trying to take him down in his fortress.

No they didn't, or at least not all of them.
Robin, Starfire, Superboy and Wonder Girl are trapped in the Phantom Zone, giving the writers an opportunity to bring them back if need be.
I think Mr. Freeze will be either a Mobile unlock skin or a tournament fund skin, kind of like they did with... was it sub zero in MKX? I can't remember. Blue Steel or something?
