But having to do this with every Switch game. Yikes. Why must there be no activity log? Please let Splatoon 2 & Arms have an ingame timer T_T.
Not at all, there is no new system updates. And even if it was required, that update would come with the game itself.

I was just pretty surprised. Horizon's spoiler-free impression thread wasn't nearly as strict.
Can people at least talk about quality and variety of side quests and towns, as long as they're not literally describing one of them?

According to 4chan from the leakes/pirates it appears that the wii u version has massive fps drops. Like to 15fps near the old man at the beginning.
Can confirm. Getting huge drops and not only on the Plateau.

God, I hate new console launches even more than I love them. Getting anxious that I won't have my pre-ordered Switch and Zelda on Friday. This week is endless.

Wow, one google search and you're right, the game is indeed available for pirating. That's sad. It also makes me insanely impatient for Friday. But I'm excited to play it fresh on my Switch

If you don't want the title screen spoiled don't click here: but there's an > Options setting so maybe the sound can only be changed from the title screen?

I don't know why the title screen is so boring compared to previous ones. TP was GOAT.
I was hoping they would pan around the world and show little interactions and things.

Agreed the title screen is not great. TP and OOT were amazing.

Sad to hear it's a relatively boring title screen. One of my favorite things is also the little opening story... Not sure if this has one.

Even Zelda 1 on the NES has a better Title Screen than Breath of the Wild seems to have.
Should have clarified that after 50+ hours I may be sick of the battle theme while fighting Bokoblins.

For those playing Wii U version, can I put headphones in the GamePad to get audio even though I'm not playing offscreen? Wondering cause TP HD allows this but WindWaker HD didn't.

I just read a Polygon article about how you can change the game's audio and text (including voice acting language) on Switch by switching the system's language (between nine different languages apparently, pretty cool). Any word on if this is possible on Wii U?
I've been Master Questing it up in OoT. Time for Majora's Mask for my next fix.

Yes, this should also be possible on Wii U, other games do it, aswell. One difference might be that the Switch OS is much faster and effortless, it could take a 3-4 minutes on Wii U.
Also, I'm assuming no OST is another rule.
