Stupid question, but how do you throw objects? I pick them up with A, and even if I press in a direction to throw, when you press A again the item just falls behind his back. I've tried using L, R, and Z triggers, but he just drops the object instead of throwing it.

Yes. You need to do the first quest to activate the shrines.

R bumper throws items like rocks but to throw something like a weapon, you need to hold it down for a couple seconds first.

Just browse games on Twitch, find Zelda and it sorts the streams by number of viewers. Start with the most popular stream and work your way down until you find someone you like.

lol, sell your cooked dishes. Some get quite a bit. Toss in some apples and some meat, use up all 5 slots and maybe use something that would give a stat boost and you can get like 40-70 pretty easy (per dish).

For sure, the button mappings and control scheme in general feels pretty awkward, especially considering how well thought out everything else seems to be. Mapping the sprint to left stick click would go a long way alone.

I have played for about two hours and thus far I love the game. I just had to see the user score on Metacritic and I was really surprised by it only being 7.8. Is it a bunch of troll reviews?

Yeah there are almost 80 scores that are between 0-3 out of 10.

These clothes are also findable right there in the opening few minutes, iirc, so no spoilers there. I love looking like 'proper link', what with the green and all. In fact, he looks like SS link in this outfit, with the pants being what they are. And what's really cool is that these are the clothes

Yep, just got off the plateau and outside of framerate, that's my only complaint right now.

It's odd - the controls are so very un-Nintendo like. They remind me of Bloodborne or MGSV - lots and lots of control and exceptional player agency, but a somewhat cumbersome moment-to-moment control method.

Still waiting for my console and Zelda. Already got the Pro controller, screen protector and JC charging grip. Been messing with the Pro controller, I honestly think it might be my new favorite "standard" controller.
