Where did my inventory expansion NPC go? I went to where they said they'd be but I can't find email. Unless I misheard them

Is there a way to get a horse back to the stables automatically, and if not... what's the range of the whistle? I have one stuck next to a tower, I'd like to get it back to the stable.

Also, remember that you can register Switch Gamecards on MyNintendo. BOTW was worth 16 gold coins for me, with which I bought the BOTW primer guide. Not a whole lot new, except for one thing.

Monsters level up.
The more you kill the same type of monsters, the more elites show up. And that escalates several times over.
So don't fight unless you have to, it seems. Killing random foes will make the foes actually in your way that much stronger later.

I love that the equipment breaking mechanic means that potentially the entire game is a game of trading upwards. I took a off beaten path to visit a shrine that I saw far away on top of a tower, inside was a combat trial that made me use up three of my best weapons and like most of my better foodstuff. But in return I got equipment that was way beyond anything I was using before.

Also I found some stunning scenery that was very reminiscent of Xenoblade. If Monolithsoft was acquired just to make this game, it would have been worth it.

I'm in the shrine
on top of one of the twin mountains west of the starting zone
with the balls that you have to put in a certain order in a room with a 5x5 grid. I'm confused.

Holy shit the shrine where you do the marble maze I ended up
just flipping the entire thing upside down
. This game.

This is a good game.

So I was wondering if anyone could tell me this, how does the master sword work in this? Does it break like every other weapon or have a cooldown? No story related stuff though please.

Look at the holes that the balls are in when you start. Now go outside and look for the shrine on the other mountaintop.

I keep finding these little circles of rocks in water, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do with them? I've tossed bombs in them, jumped in them, etc. I assumed a Korok was something was in them but I dunno?

I jumped into the one next to Impa's house and a kurok jumped out.

I have a feeling Nintendo will look at all the VA criticism and pull a Mario Sunshine again.
i.e. never voice act another Zelda game again

Need some help with a shrine I've found about 4-5 hours in - it's kicking my ASS.

Muwo Jeem - A modest test of strength.

I'm doing practically no damage to this guy, and I BURN through my weapons and shields. Should I just come back later? I went exploring, ended up here, and feel I'm in way over my head. But I want to just make sure I'm not an idiot.

> Oh, there's only two Blue Bokoblins there and a red archer, I can take them easy
> Just need to get a headshot on.... oh wait I missed and now they see me
> Well, okay, I can take them
> Oh wait, there's like 6 of them, I must not have seen them. But I might be okay, got my trusty sword! It can two shot blue ones, so maybe...
> "Your sword is badly damaged" okay, okay, so maybe I can just block and kite until I can get away
> "Your shield burned up!" oh... oh no
> "You Died"

Just most people I know have issue with English VA, but yeah, knowing Nintendo probably they will do that instead of giving option to change voice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So I got about five hours in and... yeah, it's pretty great. The first two or so hours were really disappointing, between all of the speeches from the Old Man and playing through the same shrines and areas I've seen a million times in the E3 stuff earlier this year, but once you get out of there and have total freedom, man, it just clicks.

I stole a horse from a Bokoblin and rode straight through to the coast, traveled my way along the beach until I found a stable to saddle him up (name is Gustav because, well, it just felt right). Did a fun little sidequest there, knocked off another two shrines, climbed the tower, and finally made it to a sleepy little fishing village before calling it a night. I now have a goofy little fish-shaped rubber hat that makes me lightning resistant.

Have any of you guys been playing around with the Octo Balloons or whatever that you get from Octoroks? They're amazing. I can't wait to see if I can stick on one on a sleeping enemy...

I figure after messing around there I'll meander my way up to the next story spot and meet
Impa
, but for now I'm content to hang out with the fishermen.

Can anyone tell me the location of one of the memory locations for the first camera quest. Assume ive followed the story fully.

FFS i died fighting a bunch of blue boko riders, when it loads my save, two riders are sprinting st me and I have about 3 seconds to react before a one hit death. I've died 5x in about two minutes.

By the way, is there any luck of finding more stables, the only one ive ever seen is the one thats at the twin peaks, and ive seen absolutely zero of them since them, it makes it hard for me when I want my horse "Epona?"(yes with the question mark) with me as much as possible, I also just stole a horse from a boblukin and im basically on a mountain so idk if I can even get it to the twin peak stables

I found at least one other.

I was a bit annoyed the towns don't really have a stable in them. I was hoping the inn at least would double as one

I found one before the twin peak area actually.
I went way to the right after getting off the plateau and crossed Hylia Bridge

Not sure how common they are though.

I think that's the one I used my three best weapons with strength 25, 20, and 18 to beat. Just keep healing up whenever you take a hit. If you don't have weapons even near those levels then you probably should come back later. The three phases are very distinct and you need to learn what to do. Other than that use flurry attacks and charged attacks.

Wasn't it great? Now go into the shrine and get your neat loot.

Yeah that was amazing and I basically just stumbled into it.

I had no food left and apparently not warm enough clothes to last in that cold, so I was eating some of the billion apples and shrooms I've collected every few seconds to stay alive, haha

Waiting for the rain to pass by so I can keep trying to climb this mountain so I can get this Korok Seed.

👏

Same here actually. I've been exploring around Quatta's Shelf when I saw your post and...Saw something that has to do with what we're talking about. It was pretty damn rad.
