This just in! Food affects work for horses, too! Fed my horse an endura carrot designed to give you more stamina to my horse and it gave him 3 extra spurs for a total of seven!
A little framey in cities but perfectly playable.
I have had no regrets. I cant see any visual loss but I may just not be tuned to that. I would be curious how it plays with the Pro Controller as the tablet is awkard for me after a while.
Tablet screen has no use other than off tv play.
I generally like all the dynamic and simulation aspects of the game, and I generally like things mattering and having consequences -- But I genuinely despise the feature where you can't climb when it rains.
Today alone I've had three separate instances where I just sat there waiting several minutes for it to stop raining so I could continue. Waiting 5 minutes to play due to something you can't control is fucking terrible.
The worst example occured just now -- I was on the hilltop behind karaoke village. I pulled a chest out of the ground and it dropped into town below -- into the water behind a building. I went down into the water, found a place to stand, and lifted it up above me and dropped it on the walkway. As I was doing this it started raining.
I couldn't climb out because it was raining, and if I warped away the chest wouldn't be there anymore and I'd have to start over.
So I sat there waiting.
And, again, this isn't an isolated incident. It happens all the time. Waiting for it to stop raining. I can't imagine who thought this was a good idea.

Just got my sheikah slate upgraded at. I feel like I've played 15 hours and have barely scratched the surface. I get sidetracked so much lol.Hateno

It took me 20 hours to finally see one and I was thrilled enough simply thinking "i didn't know bears were in this game, I was ready to carve the poor guy up and then thought "what if?"I rode a bear
Anything is possible
I have a love/hate relationship with the rain.Yeah I never hated rain in a game before. Lol.
I did it by accident, poor Korok.Does anyone else, after finding a korok under a rock, drop it right back on their heads just for shits and giggles?
As an aside for skeletal fellows I love so much that the boney limbs you can pick up and use as a weapon continue to wriggle around, you've got Link just chatting with some folks at the stables with this grasping hand on his back.I got killed by a skeleton bokoblin throwing the disembodied head of another at me.
The enemies constantly surprise.
Asneak[/SPOILERS] mission in the game and the checkpoint system reboots you at the start of it all when you mess up. Also you can't manually save
God damn it nintendo...
How do you feed a horse? I was holding some apples in front of my horse but it didn't react.
Yes you can, check the options.
You can check your bond with them at the stables.
Wii U owners, how is the Wii U version?
We're not talking about the same thing, because when i go to the menu to save right now it says ''You cannot save right now''. And I tried at various parts
It does suck but there is usually ways to get around the rain using other means (In this case you could have used cryonis to make a platform for the chest). Oh and you can climb, just not as well.
Can't stand the VO for Zelda (the character). I didn't like the English VO in the trailer but I figured eh, it'll be fine. But I really hate it and it takes me out of every single cutscene she's in. I really wish they'd included the JP dub.

So at the top of Mount Ploymus, there is a tough as fuck enemy. I need to be in this area for the, but this beast is beating my ass over and over. Should I tackle this quest later or is this normal?Zora Quest
Is that the one to get arrows? If so, just sneak around and collect the arrows in the trees. So at the top of Mount Ploymus, there is a tough as fuck enemy. You can't make progress climbing when it's raining. Every x distance you fall the same distance. You can mount something short but any longer climb is impossible.
Also the water was too deep for the ice power
The VO has been bad. King Rhoam and Zelda are both somewhat awful, frankly -- I'm just making a little indie game and if I received those VOs as reels I would have passed. Amateur and beginner VO actors are readily available who are better. I don't understand who cast this
You're supposed to make fire and sleep. That way you don't have to wait. (Look for a safe space to make fire)

Just watched the first recovered memory, the one at the. Holy crap is that area brutally hard. I went to theSacred Grounds near Hyrule Castleby mistake and then died 10 times trying to come back out of the area to thetown squarelol. At least I got a really awesome shield and sword out of it.sacred grounds
As for the cutscene, very interesting. First, Zelda's VA is pretty bad. I was meh on her initially but her delivery in that scene was terrible. The rest of the VA however was pretty good.
So seems like Zelda. Cant wait to see more!didn't initially like Link? I do find the "he represents all of her own failures" angle really interesting
This way of telling the story is pretty cool. Theres an overarching main quest and then there are these recovered memories that fill in more of the backstory. You can then prioritize what you want out of the game. Kind of like a Netflix binge: you can get them all one after another or take your time with them.
I couldn't light the torches to do a quest earlier because it was raining. Can you light campfires when it rains but not torches?

Is there any sort of place to store weapons, or is it just what I can carry?

You need to find shelter.
Seriously, it's baffling. Everything sounds like a first read, and like the actors weren't given any direction other than "act anime". This is so beneath this game's status it's actually embarrassing.
