10/10 game of the year!

*hits Gyro puzzle in the shrine*

8/10

How the fuck did you think that was a good idea. Wow that was the worst shit doing it mobile. I probably looked like a retard getting pissed off. Such an infuriating thing

This game is so damn good. There's so much to do I keep getting sidetracked from the main quest. I love climbing and being able to climb everything is fantastic for exploration.

Yeah, they are so awful. I sat there for a good 10 minutes on the hammer one confused on what I was supposed to be doing until I noticed that the hammer was moving to motion controls.

Zora weapon question:
I read somewhere that you can get an unbreakable trident from the lightscale/ceremonial trident repair guy. Is this true?

My shrine had to do with stairs......moving them on sliders and then lining them up without screwing up to run across. The one after had a chest underneath that you had to rotating 180 degrees and then flip it back over to line up again

Ggggooooddddd it was infuriating

Has anybody solved the dueling peaks shrines!?

walk in the balls where they are positioned is the solution for the other peak, and vice versa

Better get some paper lol

Yes I have.

Take a picture of the first shrinelayout, then go to the second shrine, take a pic of it, then make it match the first shrines original layout. Then go back to the first shrine and make it match the second shrines original layout.

Zelda is not getting a pass simply because it is Zelda. Tons of AAA games that had inconsistent frame rates and have gotten great scores.

Witcher 3
Grand Theft Auto
Last of Us
Uncharted 2
Fallout 4
Skyrim
Dark Souls 3
Bloodborne
Bioshock
True, though i do think the framerate lessens the experience. Those other games are either not as inconsistent or they should have complained too.

Overall reviewers not taking into account stable frames 30 or 60 is a joke imo

wait till you hit the pachinko one, an hour of random luck.

Haha this is some funny shit. It concerns the arrow selling lady and chicken guy in Kakariko Village. I'll spoiler tag it to be sure.

The arrow selling lady wanted me to light a few torches. But I didn't want to waste fire arrows on that. So I equipped my Boko Club and lit it on fire and threw it at the torch, lit it on fire again, rinse and repeat. Once done I went back to her and she started bitching about how she wanted me to have used fire arrows to light them on fire and then started comparing me to her husband, the chicken obsessed guy and basically started talking a lot of shit about men.

My friend however DID use fire arrows and got a completely different conversation with her because of that.

I fucking love that the developer thought of all these little things. They clearly expected some players to do this in a different way, haha.

Just read this and went to try it for myself. Except i didnt even need to use fire arrows. There's a bonfire you can dip your normal arrows into and they'll catch fire. Bravo devs, bravo.

What? Why is the
Maraca
guy gone? I want to upgrade some more and he was still there when I ended talking to him the last time.

I need more
space!

You can turn off shrine sensors. I got rid of them. Go to your shiekah slate map and press Y I think

Go to the map and press Y IIRC to turn it off.

Go to shiekah slate screen and there's a button for it, it tells you when you get the sensor lol

Go to your map. Push Y.

You can't mute it the sensor but you can disable it entirely. Press Y on the map screen.

Thanks guys!

Game is 100/100 again. :)

Seriously, if you're still lurking for impressions just go buy it.

Cool stuff indeed. I wanted to use arrows as well but it turned out I didn't have any. So I had to think of something else.

Enjoying the shit out of this game, but is it really meant to be Dark Souls hard, or am I playing it wrong? I constantly run into enemies that can take my four hearts on one go. My weapons break constantly. Every passage is a challenge, getting to
Zora's domain
took an absolute ages.

You probably should upgrade your equipment? Kakariko village and the other human village have better armors as well as the great fairy can upgrade them for cheap

Ok, managed to beat the first dungeon, which was also pretty atypical but still awesome. Feels good to properly end a chapter in the story. And through some luck and a revive I managed to activate the central tower, damn those guardians. They even lock on when you're climbing the tower way up, assholes.

Also I keep accepting/adding sidequests but I don't know if I'll ever get to them all. With just 1/4 of the map explored this game already feels huge. One thing that's been bugging me is that I can't find crickets for one particular sidequest. You'd think those things would be everywhere.

I climbed a mountain and parachuted in.

I only realized how difficult the passage up was on the way down.

But yeah, sometimes you just need to sneak around enemies if you don't want to get wrecked.

D-pad to push and pull things away from your position, control stick to move the object itself, it kinda clicks when you're not just flailing it around.
Though you can't seem to rotate, that's a bummer.
So I'm not crazy, there really is no way to rotate.

This is like...exactly what I want from video games.

How is this real
If you were to ask me to describe my dream game, it would be this, almost exactly. It's unbelievable. It all feels so right.

This is Zelda

So I'm fighting the boss in the water dungeon, and it seems like the second form requires you to have arrows? The game doesn't exactly give you any outside of select areas/stores, so what am I supposed to do?

The game does a really bad job of communicating to you when you are underleveled or undergeared for a specific area. When you are dying in one hit then you are under leveled or you don't have the proper gear yet.

The run to
Zoras domain
is a big difficulty spike. But you could have just run past everything the whole way there.

I
stood under it and just threw all of my weapons at its underside. After 3 or 4 it would get stunned and hopefully land nearby, at which point I used a Guardian spear to wail on it (you can do some damage even as it's getting up this way). Running in a wide circle on the platform under it allowed me to dodge most of the ice blocks.

I also
used a spear to destroy the ice blocks before they hit me while I approached. The rapid melee attack makes it hard to mess up the timing. Allowed me to avoid wasting arrows on it
.

It sucked. 20 arrows my arse.

Game is everything I have hoped for so far. Just have to say there are some thirsty ladies in this game when it comes to Link.

Guys! Feed the stable dogs lots of food!

Once it started following me around, I decided to feed it one more drumstick. It got super happy, ran to the entrance, and sat waiting for me. I ran to it, and it left the village, then sat again in the forest. THIS BITCH IS CURRENTLY LEADING ME THROUGH THE WOODS! I haven't found out why yet. I'm just freaking out that I stumbled upon this mechanic! What is it, boy? Is Timmy in the well?!

The sense of discovery of this game is magnificent.

Holy shit, really?
Yesterday I gave raw meat to a dog at a stable and I saw he started to like me and following me but didn't leave his home. I never imagined giving more food would actually make him like you even more.
Lovely stuff.

She complimented me, just said nothing about fire arrows.

Hmmm ok. Still really cool that she was a lot more friendly towards you though.

did the same lol

alls these
electric
enemies were to much to straight encounter them, The I killed the big one on the bridge running away and bombing him while doing it. He first hit me from the bridge though ^^
