you only need the 13 to pull it, not use it. you can respec your stamina now. thats what I did

Do the hearts need to be permanent or can I eat some specific food to get around that? Can't even imagine how long it takes to get so many permanent hearts. Will stop getting stamina upgrades now...

I think the hearts need to be permanent.

Whoever designed the Mirro Shaz Shrine should be burned at the stake and the tester who okayed it should be used as kindling.

You'd think it odd that I would hate a shrine so much I would learn its name but rest assured, you'll look it up when you get there for tips on how to possibly beat it.

eventide island, howd you guys even
kill that stupid cyclop? It one oneshot 2 times and i stopped bothering. Is there a way to take the ball without waking him up?

How I did it, also good tip for Hinox in general:
All Hinox-es have powerful weapons around their neck. If you can get it to bend over (either by shooting it in the eye or baiting his grab attack) you can grab the weapons right off of it while it's still alive. This one in particular has a dragonbone weapon around its neck, powerful enough to take it out and kill everything else on the island in 1-3 hits.

Anyone know at what are of the game are the other two great fairies ?

Just a general location, no specifics please

V

From the golf trial : the last one (after the orb) is
FIVE 2 handed weapon strikes and TWO single handed weapon strikes

Just writing it down because it took me waaaaaaaaaay more than it should

Should I be trying to climb to the top of Rito village to find its elder? I can't seem to find him in the city, and I don't have enough stamina pips for the final leg of the climb.

there is an orb in Impa's house but she won't let you take it, I guess it's related to that. Thanks

It could be that, but the
other place where I had to use I had to take it from a Hinox, so maybe deep in that forest there's one? Didn't check.

It's terrible. I gave up on it before I snapped one of my joycons.

Heh, now I look forward to finding it.

Shoot the rope with an arrow and the orb will fall off. Either grab it and run like hell or hide and fall back so it will fall back into sleep and grab the orb at that moment.

I did kill it though for fun lol.

I set up multiple explosive barrel traps and lured him into them haha

But still ultimately failed and died :(

Any speculation on timeline placement? There is a memory where Zelda lists all the "major" incarnations of Link (Skyward Hero, Hero of Time, Protector of Twilight) which leads me to believe it's following twilight princess.

We know it's approximately 10,100 years after Ocarina of Time, so possibly very distant future after FSA. The game is effectively a reset button for the timeline, it's placed far enough away from all three timelines it could very well be in its own converged timeline (if we're considering the returning costumes/weapons canon).

He's at the top of the village itself. He's impossible to miss. But you did so eh.

I did it without waking him up at all. Go to the cliff above him and paraglide onto his stomach. Walk really slow to the orb on his neck, grab it and throw it off his body. Crouch walk off him and slow walk away with the orb.

You can also paraglide onto him, grab it and just walk away. He's too slow and they're not able to catch up to you.

Now that I think about it I'm surprised Nintendo didn't make a Accolades Trailer for this game.

Also, I love 2nd version of the Main Theme more then the original

I placed a ton of metallic weapons around its sleeping area then dropped round bombs on him while hiding from up top. Then when it rained (the fight took so long for a weather change to occur lol) it got struck by lightning to deal the final blow. Took longer than expected, but the result is satisfying.

This game is incredible, really beat my already lofty expectations. Even my GF is hooked, we were playing this together this weekend, pointing out stuff and just marvelling at the world.

I found myself a special sword in a forest.
How do you replenish the swords energy when it is depleted? To get the sword i "respecced" my stamina vessels into hearts so i could lift the sword. Then i respecced back my stamina. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .. I also ran into a huuge ass skeleton boss up on a mountain when looking for a shrine. Skalnox something, killed his ass though.

Damn this weekend went fast and i havent even touched Horizon yet wich i also got this friday.

Being able to climb just about anything is the brilliance of this game. I just got to Karkoriko village after exploring for to long and decide to just start climbing tall mountains. The thrill of breaking your expectations and actually climbing to your goal is incredible. I just want to keep playing forever.

Climbing is actually a joy now ( when it's not fucking raining ) when i got climbing boots and hat and 2 stamina bars. :) Even managed to get to the top of that tall ass pole in skull lake that has a shrine on top of it.

Having a lot of fun with this game, though I am still in the early stages (finally reached Zora's Domain).

I saw a meteor falling from the sky and went as fast as I could to chase it down, skipping everything in the process. Such a great feeling of excitement.

I'm not where you guys are so I don't know what you're all talking about, but wow, being able to place metallic objects around sleeping enemies and have lightning do the dirty work? Again, wow! That is amazing and some next level stuff.

I remember hearing you can get heart containers outside of Shrines/Orbs but not Stamina. Is it just a dungeon completion benefit or is there something else?

Crickets are next to rivers often. Also if you're having trouble,
upgrade your scanner at the Hateno laboratory so you can scan for insects, helps a ton.

go into the forests next to the village and cut the grass with a sword/axe and they jump out.

Thanks, will have those in no time now.

Think I'll just wander the land some more and activate pillars before heading out for the second beast. I want to continue with the main quest, but I know that once that's over, I'll have less of an urge to return to the world probably.

I used
Magnesis on one of those crates and just bashed him in the eyeball until he went down.
