The gyroscope puzzle everyone is having trouble with has an important purpose: It's to teach you that alternate solutions can be found if you think outside of the box. They made this puzzle to be found early in the game.

You assume that you need to keep the maze upright when in reality you have 360 degree freedom in every direction. Technically it can be solved upright, but having the ball fall on the sides or bottom makes it trivially easy.

Where is this shrine anyway?

Been playing since launch about 20 hours, i'm going to finally go to a dungeon today.

My question when we beat dungeons do we get some kinda special weapon or something like older Zelda games?

You can spoiler tag the answer if you want.

I've only finished one dungeon but you get an "upgrade" more than an item.

They're not always weapons but you do get special things when you beat each dungeon.

Is anyone else having problems when Moblins (the tall lanky pig monsters) start rag dolling? I get major slow down sometimes when they start flopping over.

You get
a new passive ability, but they're different from new tools of previous Zelda games.

Yeah, those are the worst frame drops / frame skips in the game for me. If they happen in a forest or on death mountain the whole thing can go totally haywire for seconds at a time.

Are there any materials safe to sell? Like Diamonds or Sapphires or whatever? or does every single thing have another purpose?

I'm really hurting for Rupees, like all the time.

My game froze for a full second or two when fighting those guys on Death Mountain, it's pretty nuts.

That one is nothing compared to another gyro puzzle.

That one with the 3 u-shaped things, with 3 balls and 3 switches...I nearly threw my Switch across the room.

Yep, you get some things and they're mostly really useful!

everything has a purpose, you usually sell when you have too much of a given thing.

I thought that one was pretty simple.

The real bad motion control one is
The one that copies the boss key mechanic from Skyward Sword.

There's a reward for getting them all too.

Shit. Well I'm nearly 2/9ths of the way there!

Finally home from work and ready to play again.

Today's goal is to finally purchase the full climbing set and
try upgrading it to rank 2. I hope it allows me to climb in the rain with the extra set ability, fingers crossed.

Question about a Zora's domain sidequest

Where can I find the ceremonial javelin? The quest log just says it was dropped off of a bridge, but I feel like I've looked under every bridge there and I can't find it.

Well, I had the game completely freeze on me for the first time (Wii U version). Was doing the
Korok trial where you have to get to the end of the area without losing any of your equipment. I figured I'd just run past any monsters, but since they were chasing me I think with a bunch of those and the fire and all the particle effects going on it was too much for the Wii U to handle.

Stand beside the guy that dropped it then look down and activate magnesis. You should see it.

I haven't seen everything, but throughout my playthrough I rarely really needed the gems. I saw a couple not too useful items they could make, and some pieces of gear need them for upgrades. Generally I'd say sell them if you need money, but just keep a few around.

Mark the locations of Taluses, since those can be good ways to get some rocks if you need them. I think the Taluses respawn anyway?

Are the Quilted Shirt and the Warm Doublet... the same... thing?

I've been running around the Great Plateau for like half an hour trying to find the Quilted Shirt because I have a mighty need to have every piece of clothing possible (good luck trying to track down some of those out of print amiibo, me) and I found a list that says it's "in a bokoblin camp on the Great Plateau" but then I saw a picture and it... looks just like the Warm Doublet. Buh? Have I been wasting my time?

So I'm listening to the soundtrack CD and...does anyone remember that infamous abrupt cut in last year's E3 trailer? Turns out that's the fault of the main theme, where it's still present. I think it's beautiful otherwise but it's such a strange sound design, especially since it happens right before what I consider to be the best part.

Yeah, I'm playing on Switch and that's the one area the game always struggles with; it just outright stops. I'm always fearing it'll freeze the game.

My game froze for a full second or two when fighting those guys on Death Mountain, it's pretty nuts.

There are times when I open the item menu or even bring up the sheika slate power selector and not all the images are loaded. Sometimes when I kill a enemy the game freezes for a bit before dropping the weapon to the ground.

Doing a 180 with the camera also slows down the game on wii u

Should i be hoarding heart pieces or stamina upgrades with each 4 shrines i beat?
I've been focusing more on Hearts so far. I have 3 extra hearts now and 1 extra stamina. Going to make my next upgrade Stamina and then do 2 more Hearts. Kinda in that order for a bit.

I should have tried that, instead I walked on them too many times and she beat the hell out of me.
Same here. lol. Stupid lady, even though I've now beaten that Shrine, I think I'll now go back and burn her flowers down. lol

I saw that one and rolled my eyes. I just flipped the board around for 10 mins until I got lucky.

I know that was came out of the guide leak before release, but is there seriously 900? That seems way to absurd, I mean there can't be enough land mass to have all those puzzles. Is there a way to locate them with the sensor?

Killed the boss inside the E
lephant
, if i activate the last panel, i will no longer able to return to this place, what am i missing if i leave now?

As much I love the freedom and new direction in this game.

I miss the green tunic and hat.

It's in the game apparently, but the way you get it is absurd. I wish they kept with a bit more of the traditional Zelda aspects in this game. It's probably my biggest gripe with it.
