The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| A Link from the Past

I understand why stat boosts don't stack, but it's really annoying when I'm on Death Mountain and I need to eat, but the only thing I have left is a speed boost meal that will cancel out flame guard, so I can't use it. :/
 
Me: oh sweet a treasure chest (I get clothes that'll help my defense)

5 guardians target me literally right after I press A and the dialogue box disappears.

Man I thought Guardins were mostly in Hyrule field but was I surprised at that moment.

Missables in a game like this are terrible

I didn't even have the camera unlocked when I went after my first dungeon...
 
My goodness some of the voice acting is fucking atrocious. Did they get their kids to do the voice overs? Gonna have to rewatch all the memories in a different dub.
 
Finished the zora area. I could have sworn I read people saying how hard they thought the dungeon was. I found it easy peasy, especially the boss.

Didn't get the ingredients until I got to the first out post shortly after that. I'm still early in he despite doing 11 shrines. I've just been climbing and hunting stuff. Hell that horse I missed out on was the first horse I saw ingame. Haven't seen any since.

again, has anyone done the minigame on eventide island and gotten the reward for it?

It's pretty clear that the dub was rushed in order to get this out for launch in North America. The way they speed up the voices in order to match the lip flaps instead fo redoing them is hilarious.

not to mention the amount of fucking material it needs. Be honest with me, is the extra resistance to guardians worth the price and materials?

You can keep playing after beating the game? I can't seem to. The game just dumped out to the main menu and if I load a save it just goes to my last auto save prior to facing ganon.

hey don't stack (they cancel each other out)

Extra Hearts and Defense
DO stack, however, as I had both active in a shrine
.

What else stacks and what doesn't? Can I use defense boost and attack boost simultaneously?

Thanks! Prefer to not waste anymore potions.

It means you're in conditions that can cause them to be a lightning hazard if you equip them. So.. Don't (unless that's what you want -- it can be fun throwing a sparking weapon at an enemy and getting lightning to strike them)

Is there a star on your save file now? If so then your good.
 
So if you dump all the shrine tokens into hearts, does it eventually cap it? Or can you just keep going?

I've been alternating between the two.

A star was added to your savegame because you finished the game. They also added Completion Percentage to the sheika slate. Im currently at like 20%, game is too big.

Actually
you "repair it" by recrafting it at the zora town. It has to break for them to give you a new copy.

Oh my god. I just had a moment with this game. Wow. Such a small game design thing. Long story short I climbed a mountain and got to the top at midnight and saw something really ducking cool.

This may be one of the best games of all time.
 
Started playing this game since day 1, couldn't stop playing it until now. This game might be the best open world game I've played yet.

Also, Hateno Village and Zora Village theme is so beautiful T_T

Did I miss something on my way to find this Goron guy? He's caved in and I've tried everything I can think of but I don't how to break him out.

I knew the references to Link's Awakening on the map meant I was in for the best area.

I died though---guess you have to do it in one go? The easiest part I did was the Hinox, if you take the metal box with Magnesis you can just have him walk into it lol.

Two dungeons down now, Zora and Rito. Before I tackle the last two gonna finish the last two map pieces, and do some sidequests for awhile.

Oh I haven't used them yet, I couldn't find a way to activate them? Tried rolling bombs in them but that didn't work out.
