Yeah - there's that glowing orange metal circle that's near the first great fairy fountain in Kakariko Village - I think I'm supposed to drop something in the center of it and I have no idea what though lol

Does anyone know the solution?

There's an orange orb next to Impa in her house. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it.

After over something like 50+ hours of game time and beating the game I just found a new village I didn't know existed. This game man

But they're perfectly content to sell me DLC that won't release until Christmas, so I guess they're not forgetting it too much.

They're throwing Wii U owners a bone by giving them the option to purchase the DLC on that system. I'm actually kind of surprised they didn't make the Expansion Pass exclusive to Switch.

You know, reading your article made me realize I did exactly a bunch of the things in BotW including:

Climbing trees
Catching bugs in the grass
Picking wild fruits
Catching and roasting fish on a fire
Climbing a hill and using the top of an umbrella to parachute
Making a bow myself and trying to hunt birds lol
Though I always wanted to ride a horse the closest thing I rode was a tortoise

haha I spent many a day trying to make a bow out of sticks and strings.

Question about Ganon and the Divine Beasts.

If you go to Ganon before doing any of the dungeons, if you beat all of them, does it also purify the divine beasts? I didn't get a clear answer last time I asked this but could I just go to Ganon now, not save after beating him and continue from my last save and experience the dungeons normally and later take on Ganon again?
Yes. The game doesn't save after the ganon fight, so you are in the room right before the fight and you leave like nothing happened

The Switch t-shirt is ridiculous lol

It clashes with the entire game and doesn't even try to hide being an advertisement. And I own the Wii U version! Why isn't it a Wii U shirt?

It also took awhile for me to even find it.

I actually like it. My Link is currently wearing it until I get enough money to buy more clothes. I love my Switch though so that's why I like the shirt.

Question for those who have finished the game.
I assume it saves after you beat Ganon, but does it put you back in a world with Ganon defeated or is he still there and you can fight him again?
.

Just finished writing my official RESPONSE video to my 8/10 BOTW review. Fucking thing is sitting at 3600+ words. I should have it edited and up either tomorrow or on Saturday.

I hope yall watch it and get a better understanding of what I loved and didn't love about the game :)

The game doesn't save after beating Ganon
So you return to the last save point

It just reverted me back to my last save before fighting Ganon.

Finally, Ancient Armor complete. All Memories found.
Master Sword
get. 1 Divine Beast left to go.

This game has consumed my life. I probably have at least 50 - 60 hours logged.

Does anyone have a list of all the mini games available? So far I've found:

1. Golf (just holed on a 3!)
2. Horse race with jumps
3. Mystery chest.

I hear there's a horseback archery game and bowling game but no idea where they are. Surely there's a snowboarding game??

What's the best way to look for shrines? Trying to complete them all before I face Calamity Ganon.

Just explore and pay attention to the shrine sensor. If you're still early on and don't know what that is yet, you'll learn. Wouldn't be surprised if you need a guide to hunt down the last several given how big the world is.

Anyone whose watched the Dunkey video wanna say how spoilery it is? His Resident Evil 7 one literally shows the final boss so I don't exactly trust him that much.

No story spoilers whatsoever. You see some equip and enemies (gasp), but it's all just gameplay. And it's hilarious. (As if that needed to be said).

There is no answer to that really. The ones visible in the world are obvious, but you should check your map. There isn't really a single location without something to find. It may just be a korok seed, but the more interesting map features are usually shrines.

Also talk to everyone that has the !.

Been out of the plateau for an hour, decided to cross this bridge I found.

Noped right back where I came from. Some fast lizards over there I tell ya.

I thought thats where you had to go as well. I basically ran for my life and climbed the tower as fast as I could then noped outta there afterwards. Those lizalfos had no chill lol

My god this is so good.

I'm at that stage now where it's clicked and I'm addicted to it. The start was promising, but I was still only playing an hour or so at a time. All until getting the glider. Now it's hours at a time, and I find myself saying "1 more thing" and still playing an hour later.

Now I find myself trying to go to main quest objectives and becoming side tracked by whatever I see in the overworld. It's the first open world game that is doing this to me. And the World's level design is so perfect. Not like other Open World games that are boring to traverse. Every bit of this feels crafted.

My first Zelda game.

i posted this in the hard mode thread but wait how do i parry guardians they charge up their laser eyes and I use an arrow and it wastes all my arrows and it takes forever to kill them

:'(

wrote that in a rage

Hebra Peak

So upon researching a recipe, a spoiler was brought up to me regarding a certain item.

So once reading you must have 13 hearts to obtain the Master Sword, has anyone else made it their mission to get 13 hearts before adding anything to stamina?

yo man what in the fuck is with these mandatory gyro puzzles. shits ruinin this game for me,
The gyro puzzles are so shit. Especially the ones where to have to use the hammer to hit a ball. So hard to get enough power.

Is there a way to repair your weapons and shields before they break?

For the people having trouble with the gyro puzzles, how are you playing?

I found that it was a lot easier if I detached the Joycons from the sides (I mostly play in mobile mode).

Absolutely horrible. I can't believe these made it into the game.
Yeah, I'm with you guys. Shit suuuuuucks.

So far, I've had zero issues. The Pro Controller works so well, and there's so many ways to cheat the system.
I dunno about you, but I'm playing on Wii U. The Wii U Pro Controller doesn't have a gyro, forcing me to constantly switch between the gamepad and the controller and it's terrible. And I refuse to play the whole game with the gamepad when the Pro Controller is so damn comfortable.

No
Cause you can exchange hearts and stamina by talking to the anti shrine
