Okay, I hope it's not just me but besides the frame rate drops, the game tends to become a bit unresponsive at times when I'm playing docked. It pisses me off since it makes stuff a bit harder. I was fighting that centaur type enemy and the game would read my inputs late or Link would just kinda walk a bit extra one or just other nonresponsive junk. Went to portable mode and it all went away.

Any way to check how long you've been playing? I want to feel deep regret.

Check your profile, it will show there after a week.

Could this related to joycon connectivity issue? Have you tried sit closer or use another controller?

I'm curious how many memory locations you guys have found. I've been all over the map and I only stumbled across one. Am I just being dumb or are they that hard to find?

There is an artist in town or stable will give hints about the places in your pictures.

There is a traveler who shows up at the stables that will give you hints to where the nearest memory locations are.

please tell me I'm not the only one who has experienced this with the switch docked

at random times.....and I mean really, really random.....doesn't happen very often but its jarring when it does.

There is like a screen tear straight across the center of the screen and you can see it when you turn the camera and then the tear goes away for a awhile......or never comes back again. But its definitely not related to performance........I'm hoping its not my switch with a connection issue or anything.

One of the weapons is a bow. Of which you get 3 different slots for separate from the weapons.

Ah ok, that's great. Thanks!

I must have played around 40-50 hours of this game and I've still only done one
Divine Beast
. I have however done around 70ish Shrines and have 14 hearts at the moment. Loving the game so much. Spent most of my play session yesterday finally completing the map, as well as travelling to all the different towns in order to find the heat/cold/fire resistant armor sets. Don't think I've played a game that rewards exploration as much as this since Skyrim.

Okay, finally found Eventide Island. That was pretty cool, not quite as good as people hyped it up to be though. Reward was a bit lame for something that seemed fairly difficult (and out of the way) though.
The reward is the satisfaction of having experienced and overcome the challenge of the island.

Lmao, Divine Beast Vah Ruta, wut. Guess it's time to look at a walkthrough :(

You have to interact with the dungeon map to solve all the divine beasts. It's something that the game never tells you is possible. It was really frustrating because I thought all puzzles were solvable by runes.

I've found 8 of the 12 so far, and I've only done 1 dungeon. A lot of them are in the general Hyrule area, and big landmarks give you an easy way to find them. Some are VERY vague (see the random forest), but even that one I stumbled across and knew it was the right area straight away.

Is there a way to show what shrines you have completed? I've found a few that I decided I wanted to go back to them later, and now I can't figure out which ones they are.

They tell you it's possible at the start of each one when you get the map. They just don't say it's mandatory.

Do you get any benefits for finding memories? IE hearts etc.

It does tell you something along the lines "blabblabla controls available"

always talk to the painter you encounter at stables and villages, he gives you pretty specific directions

No. I feel like the reward is the act of finding them and then having that snapshot of the past to help piece together the narrative. That has been enough reward for me to go do them

I've pushed myself through the Plateau, and a few more hours beyond, and I'm finally starting to warm up to the game. I am actually kind of looking forward to continuing rather than considering it a chore.

I'm pretty sure I'll never be convinced that this is best-game-of-all-time territory though, and at ~10 hours or so I'd rank this as the 4th best Zelda game, much less the 4th best game of all time (Beyond Link to the Past, OoT, and the original, which I admit is inferior but my Nostalgia-filter for is through the roof).

I've found 5 or 6, a few using the picture and going straight to them a few wandering around in new areas until I realize that a structure looks familiar.

Target's website has all the BOTW Amiibo for MSRP. It's worth noting the Link and Zelda Amiibo are identical to the Smash Bros. Link and Zelda Amiibos in terms of the NFC chip inside.

No they're not. The BotW Zelda and Link have completely different unlocks from Smash Link and Zelda. Smash Link and Zelda are treated by this game as Twilight Princess Link and Zelda and the unlocks reflect that. The BotW amiibo don't even have exclusive unlocks.

Just got to a memory close to Lake Hylia, Zelda sounds a bit salty...

She's really insecure about the whole blood of the Goddess thing and she's really mad at the King for forcing her to go through the whole process and train daily instead of becoming a scholar like she wanted to be.

This Zelda is even more complex than Skyward Sword's.

I haven't had as much fun not progressing in a game ever I don't think. I played almost 5 hours last night and I didn't really accomplish anything other than talking to some folks in a town and finding new shrines (but not even doing in to try them yet).
