I've defeated one of the dungeons in the game. And i've a question :

Have been defeated the elephant dungeon. But now i've an extra elephant icon on the top left which is charging up. What can you do with this and how can you use it?

I did it. I found and completed every last shrine. what have i done with my life

It's a passive ability. If you receive what would normally be a fatal blow, you get revived with temporary extra hearts. You can view this in the Key Items submenu as well as disable it.

OK, this has been bothering me for a while: every so often I come across a weird sound that's not unlike the sound you'd hear if you were above a sunken treasure in Wind Waker.

I feel like I'm missing out on some treasure or a Korok seed. What exactly is this sound indicating?

Those are a unique power you get for each, in that ones case it
revives you with full health + bonus hearts, but then has to recharge, which takes about a half hour I think

Mipha's grace. When you die, you are resurrected and given extra hearts. After use, it has a 30 min cool down.

Is there music too?

If so, look up.

l think it's a giant disappointment personally. l was really looking forward to it as l love Snowpeak in Twilight Princess and from what l've seen of it it's the most uninteresting region in the game.

I have all but one tower unlocked (western central region) and I thought Faron was the least interesting. There's just not much there beyond a few shrines and koroks. There is Lurelin village but there's like nothing to do there. The biggest thing out that way is probably Eventide. Just felt surprisingly empty compared to rest of the game.

If you felt that way about Hebra, maybe you just didn't find the stuff around here? Shrines here felt more well hidden than usual so maybe you missed a lot. I also found like 3 minigames all just in the mountains.

Does cooking Hearty Radish + Anything give it full recovery?

Cause Hearty Radish + Apple is full recovery + 3 bonus hearts. Which is so far, the simplest yet full hp recipe I discovered as of yet.

Faron has at least three of the most memorable moments in the game for me, so l completely disagree. l also love the looks and atmosphere of the tropical jungle, really unique compared to Hebra not being any different than any other snowy mountain.

This game just keeps getting better the more I play. I only have a few hours to play most days, but each session feels legit like an adventure.

I feel like I am creating D&D-like stories at times. Ghah!!!

They get a lot nastier.
There's a blue one in Akkala that will wreck your shit.
On top of that, in the late game,
you can face up to a grand total of three black (or silver) Lynels if you enter the various coliseums in Hyrule Castle.

Also, kinda surprised how many people didn't know Lynels (and Hinox) were in ALBW. More people need to play that game; it's easily my favorite Zelda game after BOTW. Not faulting anyone, but it was (in my opinion) the best game on the 3DS.

i think he means in 3d form

Well then maybe I missed the cool stuff over there. :p

Do share.

i had a super memorable time in the tropical rainforest area (if that's part of faron?), i found there was heaps of cool stuff to do and plenty of "whoa...!" moments. very scenic also. that said, i haven't explored anywhere from south-west to north-east so if those areas are much better than holy crap i'm in for a great time.

With the way that buffs stack/cap and the strength of evade, I think the best armors in the game (in as of so far that I have found and upgraded to view their set-bonuses) are:

This assumes you use +3Att food, and are capable of evading.

Sheikah Armor -> Free Stealth
Ancient Armor -> Super-buff to anything ancient = op arrows are now even more op.

Use former for moving, use latter for encounters.

Otherwise, use Zora/Snowquill/Flamebreaker/Desert where necessary but they have meh set bonuses. There's just not enough enemy usage of Shock/Freeze/Burn to be worth using up a set-bonus.

Berserkers is trash, bad set bonus and food is a better source of attack.

Don't armor buffs and food buffs stack. Otherwise eating a cold resist food on top of the doublet doesn't do anything.

This is the greatest game. The fun never ends-there's always something else right around the corner to find.

Just finished the
Waterblight Ganon
fight-that entire segment and area was incredible.

They don't stack after +3. Stat buffs cap after +3 from any source whether that be armor, food, or a combination.

This is what makes zerker useless.

Set out to do....I don't even remember.

Ended up exploring for 5 hours.
This sums up most of my playtime with the game thus far. I haven't checked my activity log to see how many hours I have put into it, but I know it's a lot, and I have only completed one dungeon/divine beast so far. There is just so much to see and do. I know the reviews say it all, but seriously, Nintendo fucking nailed it with this game. It's mind blowing.

There's a space between black bobokins and the silver bobokin, what is it?

Also, so there's five different Lynel types? Red, blue, black, white haired, and silver?

So is there no easier way to make rupees besides the mini game and selling ore to buyers who buy it for more?

I need to make 10k for reasons people aiming for it should already know. I'm only at like 2k. Might be 3 or 4k if I sell what I have of ore left.

I just finish the
Water
Dungeon. First Dungeon I completed this game. I have to say that out of all the games I've played where the main characters started off with amnesia this is probably the best or very close to being the best I've played.

-the first encounter with a dragon and obtaining its scale
-the giant horse taming
-the horse "fairy"

Those are some of my favorite moments in the entire game.

I completely forgot
the horse God
was in Faron. Yeah, that was hilarious.

I haven't found
the giant horse?? so maybe I'll go look for that later.

Oh I played ALBW! Probably my favorite Zelda since I played Ocarina for the first time. I guess I forgot they're in there haha.

Just so everyone gets what I'm talking about (in case they want to check it out for themselves), I can hear this sound when I stand near the pile of bones in the middle of the Bottomless Swamp.

God when you get near the great fairy and the music kicks in :)

What a game. Also got to Z
oras Domain
tonight, its so beautiful!

I also need to say that I love the Joy-cons! I find holding them individually to be a very pleasing experience. They have good weight, they feel natural in your hand and the joy sticks match up with your thumbs. So much better than the grip IMO.

I think it's a weapon lying nearby sound. It always happens after a battle, and get louder the closer I get. Unless I'm completely misunderstanding what sound you mean.

How do you fight a Moldura? It's always under the sand and only goes over when it bites. Maybe I need a Sand Seal?

With a sand seal:
Have it chase you and then curve when it gets close. It will jump out and that's your chance to fire.

Without a sand seal: Give it something to bite
And then detonate that something in its mouth.

Without a sand seal is easier, but with a sand seal is 10x cooler. Just make sure your rent a loyal one.

Anyone know if the master sword is necessary to finish the story? would rather get more stamina than hearts.

Nothing beyond the plateau is necessary to beat the game.

Ah, you're right! It's not just for any weapon, however: that sound plays for any weapon/shield with an extra attribute.

This is huge! I never was able to figure out when weapons had those kinds of things outside of picking them up and checking them in the inventory menu.

It reacts to vibrations. *hint hint*

I'm guessing vibrations means bombs.

Okay, but on foot it just goes for me and I can't outrun it or block or parry it's bite, so if I put a bomb in front of me it'll eat that instead?

I found weird contradiction made by Kubayashi regarding the removal of WiiU Padlet support in the final game because of the Switch version:

IGN
After more experimentation and testing out, we realized that this is the best way to experience the game. There was no hesitation or reluctance in removing those features because we felt the way it is now is the best way to play the game," he added.
TL;DR Good decision, no regrets.

Kotaku
We felt that the way the Sheikah Slate is represented in the game and how we use the GamePad in real life synced really well," said Fujibayashi. "So when we had to remove it, I did feel like, "Oh, it"s too bad we had to do that.'
TL;DR Padlet worked well, was sorry to have to remove it.

He basically says two completely opposite things. Was that misreported, or is he maybe each time saying what his audiences wanted to hear? I'm confused.

And when I first saw Sheikah Slate I was 100% certain that WiiU padlet will become the slate so I was a bit disappoint when it turned out this will not be the case.

Oh damn, thats great! Thanks for the tip!

Cause Hearty Radish + Apple is full recovery + 3 bonus hearts. Which is so far, the simplest yet full hp recipe I discovered as of yet.

Hearty foods by themselves create Full heal + x heart meals. Nothing else required. Hearty truffles, hearty radishes, whatever else is 'hearty', and durians too, if I recall. Great and easy way to load up on full heals is just to cook them one by one.

On a different topic - I got the master sword, and I like how it's been designed in this game. I had seen some complaints about it being weak or something, but it seems pretty cool to me. You can tell they wanted to make it a powerful weapon without making it the only weapon you would use from then on. It has more of the feel of being the 'blade of evil's bane' than past games, I think, the way it is here.
