You're giving ggers too much credit. They are a vocal part of game culture but they aren't game culture. I appreciate work that's done to make game development and games themselves more inclusive and aware of the society that they exist in, as so many people. Look at GAF for frigs sake. Developers aren't disconnected from anything, they're responding to people's wants. The ggers are the ones who are disconnected from the rest of gamers and are lashing out because of it.

That's not really true, this stuff isn't that simple or that cut and dry. People really do grow up and discover how stupid they've been in regards to a lot of that stuff.
