Video Games? Anime? Comic Books? Comic Book movies? Techie stuff like hardware/software...etc? They're remarkably consistent in where they hang out.

I have a dumb theory, those idiots never left home much in their childhood, so they relied on nerdy media to pass time, and nerdy media RARELY challenges their worldview, that's why when women and non-white protagonists started becoming more common in the past ~2 years they started the GG saga, they're not used to not being pandered to 100% of the time, that's why they went insane when WD2 had a black protagonist or when Horizon Zero Dawn had a woman, they're used to being pandered to, and when Trump became President they felt that they can be bigots publically without repercussions instead of being stuck in the depths of 4chan.

What other communities use tech to document their thoughts and opinions this way? Nerdy stuff => Using computers => Using the internet => Social media to express yourself. It's not that it's concentrated in nerd culture, it's that you're hearing it more from nerd culture because they're using social media more than, say, sports culture or knitting culture or cooking culture, etc. etc.
