Many Iranians have no love for Arabs for many reasons. Some Gulf Arabs dislike Pakistani and Indian immigrants. Gulf Arabs also dislike Iranians. Don't even get me started with people's hatred for Jews. The situation is too complex to get into though, because it's not really related to the topic at hand. Found this whole exchange funny so I took an image of it. Near the end he basically admits he wants only a certain portion of the world to immigrate here. Even though his very parents don't fall in the category.
lol, what a fucking moron. He just shows his ignorance with these comments too. I love Japan, but it's not as if they have their own share of making stupid mistakes in the name of cultural pride. Prior to WW2, they made an enemy of much of Asia, and let their desire for expansion push them in a war they were not equipped to win. Sure, you could say it was the bomb that made them change, but it was the change from a militarized country, to a more well educated and open country that made them prosperous beyond most countries in the whole world.
Japan might still maintain their cultural uniqueness because it is still largely a country of people of Japanese decent, but America is and always has been a melting pot, even if the people in charge have often been bigoted white people like this asshole. After this many centuries, and having had a black President, I would have hoped some of this shit would start being behind us. So sad to see it's not.

Even if it's not, I feel like it's disingenuous to call it an alt-right podcast. She was introduced through a mutual friend, Asterios Kokkinos, who is a big part of the Dick Show and is pretty far left, constantly arguing with Dick over politics. A big part of the guests on his show are people that disagree with the general ideas he presents - liberals, mostly - and Dick definitely isn't made to be the smart one most of the time. And as for the fanbase, there are a lot of trump guys for whatever reason, but the response to Mike Cernovich being on his show was pretty much the biggest backlash I've seen.
JonTron, though, man, I feel like you could take reasonable approaches with some of the stuff on paper but watching the debate it's pretty damn clear he's in the wrong and might genuinely lean racist.
I think the "immigration destroying culture" thing doesn't apply to America, a nation of immigrants, as an America. But I also think that you're not racist if you make the same case for european nations, even if the decisions and reasoning that come from that are often not good choices...But I also don't really have a strong opinion, since, yknow, I'm not european.
