ok you seem to have trouble grasping a simple concept so i'll break it down:
some genders have privilege. well, one gender. men. just men. straight white cisgender (non-transgender) men, to be precise.
other genders, like, say, women, and non-binary peeps, do not have privilege. they are what we call "oppressed".
when a person with privilege makes a racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic/ableist/etc joke to someone without privilege, it's called punching down. and if i have to explain to you why punching down is bad then you're beyond all hope

Again though...he didn't say it's "not sexist", just that it's not offensive. He doesn't view sexism as being offensive and neither do a lot of people who follow him, and that's where the divide is between Colin and the rest of the guys. He wants to be able to keep saying sexist stuff that he and his followers think is okay, and the rest of the guys don't want their followers to be offended by, or subject to his sexist views so they decided to part ways, even if the KF guys didn't really find what Colin was saying to be offensive. That's basically what they've been saying ad nauseam for the last two hours.

I'd think so, but then I saw the "joke" and it's just shitty.
I think it's better to just avoid saying outright offensive things than to see what days you can't say them on, especially if it's a pattern.

Judging by the comments and dislikes on their YT channel, people are standing with Colin. Which shows what I mentioned earlier that he created a toxic environment that divided the fan base and made the rest of the crew look like snakes for simply trying to run a business and not be as political. Colin forced them to be very political. They always looked uncomfortable on their political videos. Nobody really challenged him on his opinions. Politics always plays a part in our lives, but it was clear Colin was more than just a guy with an opinion. He clearly wants to be a political pundit and scholar. KF is a gaming channel.

They got tired of defending his controversial opinions and non stop political opinions. This is honestly not good news for KF. I think they'll be okay for a bit but Greg & Tim aren't going to be enough to keep going. They'll have to hire another personality IMO. All things considered though, it was best for Colin to move on. He doesn't really fit with the rest of them. He looked pissed off half the time he was on there.
