Mass Effect: Andromeda - EA/Origin Access trial coming March 16th - 10 hour trial

I don't know where people are getting their information. On my Origin (in the UK) it just says pre-load 17th March 5pm and launch 22nd March 11pm. But it does also say about EA Access starting 16th March. *Shrug*

You need to get the trial in your library. There should be two separate entries for the game, one for the trial, another for the pre-order.

Sorry for the very noobish question, but how does the 10 hours work?

10 hours alloted or is a 10 hour timer from when you first start the game?

Wait, what? I thought it goes live on the 16th?

It's the 16th in Australia right now.

To solve the problem of time zones, the universal unlock time is 30 minutes from now.

It's a timer that ticks down when running the game in any mode, even the menu.

Just be sure to "quit" out the game when done with a game session so your not using up your time when you power off your Xbox.

Damn download not up for NA I guess, says coming soob

The trial unlocks in under an hour, so you can play as soon as it has downloaded but there is just a single planet to explore and limited campaign progression.

Final game doesnt unlock until Mar 21

Both the preload and trial go live in just over half an hour (PC).

The trial also goes live in half an hour on consoles, but I'm told the preload is already live on Xbox. Unsure on PS4.

Oh damn, that's awesome. I expected to be playing tomorrow. Yeah it's one planet but hopefully big enough and enough to see and do as well. I'll take my time. I hope I get a good impression of the game and can decide whether to buy or not.

First one. You have a cumulative 10 hours of playtime over single player and multi player and don't forget that if you leave the game open in the background it'll still count down, so when not playing close it.

Says coming soon for me (NY) should I do a hard reset or do I need to wait until tomorrow? I'm assuming it's already tomorrow wherever you future people are playing from.

The store should update and let you install it automatically in half an hour, but I'll probably log out / in just to be sure.

That's not what I heard, but it's such a dick move if true.

Bioware dev tweeted it out, I reckon there's probably 2ish hours of 'story' to try before it halts the main progression.

As far as I know, it's a good chunk of the first planet that's playable. That includes a couple main missions, on top of the prologue, and a few side missions. That's what I heard from people who had access to this trial yesterday.

10 hours though. This is PC gaming. I'll be spending 9 of those in the graphics menu trying to hit that 60fps sweet spot lol.

If you haven't read The Expanse series or at least watched the show, you're missing out. That is all.

I was on set last April and I definitely got some really interesting Mass Effect vibes from the architecture. Have only seen a few episodes of the show proper but it was pretty neat to see in person.

So the 10hour download starts soon? I'm in USA, and when I go to the ME:A page on origin I don't see nothing that says to download, except pre-order, and under it "Origin Acccess Try this game before it releases on March 16th"

Same for all of us, apparently that will change in just over 10 minutes.
