Eyup. I think its obvious that his special gear will be Bow/Arrow, but please, let there be an option to change the beard.

Good question. I guess those 3 could be exclusive and not show up as loot, but something like Mr Freeze could show up.

Source Crystals are a new type of currency available in Injustice 2 that are used to purchase cosmetic features for characters. Source Crystals can be purchased using real money but aren't required to progress or advance in the game and can't be used to purchase Gear or an advantage in gameplay. We value our community and want to be clear – you cannot "pay to win" with Injustice 2

Thanks for the link. I'm okay with this. I'm just glad we have transmutation options so we can maintain the stats of our characters while still retaining our desired appearance.

Yes, that's how it seems to work. Premier Skins also have a chance of dropping, albeit a low chance. Whether that includes John Stewart, Power Girl and Reverse Flash is another question.

Seriously? The only thing we know of that is locked behind source crystals at this stage, is level boosts and transmog; a purely cosmetic option. We were expecting a microtransaction system in spite of the naysayers. I'm okay with this system as it is consumer friendly.
Next Watchtower Stream is in a week, featuring Robin.

You're not seriously implying that locking away transmutation in a game that's all about "getting gear" and making your characters look the way you want behind a payed feature only is consumer friendly ?

It's amazing what time does, when first injustice was out people were happy about the CW skin. But yea with how the show is now I wouldn't bother with it lol

As much as I have complained about the weird uncanny valley going on with this game and it's faces and facial animations, watching the Giant Bomb guys stream the new Mass Effect, and man, it could always be worse, a lot worse.

Only in local versus matches. Loot still drops in single player matches. Otherwise people would be able to game the system.
