Two suggestions so... I chose
stamina
.

I only got 3
korok seeds, and the doublet. What other secrets should I stay and find? Memories?

You can go, the Warm Doublet is the main thing to get on the Plateau as it'll be useful for the entire game.

Memories can't be gotten until you start the quest for them.

So I started climbing my way up to Zora's Domain, and I can definitely say this is fantastic, and the zora prince dude is great and I want more of him :D

Thanks. I'll see if I can find the rest of the
seeds in the Great Plateau
, t hen I'll move on.

So how am I supposed to locate fairy fountains? I got the one in
Kakariko
and the one next to the
tower in the west
, but since then nothing. I started scouting the map for little round spots that might fit the size but nothing so far.
Could someone give me a hint without straight-up spoiling it?

This isn't very spoilery but I've tagged it just in case: check in the
Gerudo Desert
area. I'd recommend a fast form of travel as there's a lot of ground to cover.

Thanks, so stumbling upon them is the only way? Like is there no NPC giving hints for those?

I don't recall there being an NPC direction for the ones you're missing, I naturally found 3 and stumbled on the 4th doing a separate side quest.

NPC characters will give you hints, but I can't remember who you need to talk to.

If you want slightly more specific directions for the one I mentioned, it's
southwest relative to Gerudo Town
. The one I mentioned is probably the furthest out of the way of any of the fairy fountains, and is the least likely for you to naturally encounter.

If you're asking on NeoGaf there really should be no shame in a quick Google. Even with maps, the game world is so big you still have to find them you're own.

I just want to make sure if there's a breadcrumb-trail in the game itself, because I rather find and follow that than jump straight to the goal.

I really hate hunting lizards. Unless I sneak up on one (by luck) or hit one with an arrow they constantly run away and simply varnish into thin air.
Always wear full stealth gear. Even running around they won't run away from you right away.

So when would you then recommend to go for hearts? After
40 spiritorbs
where already wasted with max stamina (wich you rarely need at that extend if you play smart)?

I think I probably took one or two hearts before maxing stamina, but I also did three Divine Beasts during that period, which of course resulted in three heart containers. For bosses and the like, I just cooked food to increase my hearts to a more reasonable level.

This DID mean that later on I had to find a lot of shrines in order to generate enough health to complete certain tasks, but I was pretty close by the time I felt compelled to complete those tasks, and so it wasn't too much of an ask. But I honestly can't say how the game would have played with less stamina, as I went all in so early that I can't imagine having played it another way.

The fact that it's
next to a motherfuckin' dragon skeleton helps. I went there immediately once I saw that.

Credits roll after 55 hrs, 81 shrines, 4 divine beasts, all the memories, and 31 seeds (wow I was bad at finding those). Amazing game.

Finished this today in terms of story. Had all memories restored aNd 89 shrines. Think I'm done. I enjoyed every bit.

Might go back and finish up shrines and side quests when I get the itch but after over 100 hours and with Horizon and Mass effect waiting i think im done.

Not that anybody cares but as much as i love love it i dont think it deserved 98 metacritic. Dont get me wrong but there was too many things wrong that other games get jumped for. Story was bland and ending non existent. Side quests are nothing but fetch quests and the lock on system is broken. I dont care if you should stealth or what not fact is its broken. Also framerate is woeful. Look at how gaf is reacting to mass effects framerate but nothing is said about zelda.

But really they are nit picking. The game is still deserved of a score of 92 or so. An amazing game with a few blemishes. And I do look forward to coming back every so often and wrapping up the shrines.

The
Stealth
Outfit is the best for this. I have mine almost maxed out and I'm constantly literally bumping into stuff because they don't see me. Plus the set bonus lets you
run faster
at night. :D

Edit: Oops! Nevermind...above already answered.

Soooooo...apparently you can cook food at an unlit pot!? Whaaaat?

On my wishlist for a future update:

Recipe Lists. This mechanic was obviously cribbed from Monster Hunter. One could either experiment and get recipes through trial and error, or buy the books for a lot of Zenny. This is a more legit complaint imo that weapon durability.

Just out making some friends~

Whew. All shrines and memories down. That was tough. I guess it's time to beat the game.

Is there any way into Hyrule castle that doesn't involve
getting shot by laser beams every five seconds?
More annoying than fun, tbh. I got to
the sanctum
accidentally alread, but not without taking a crap ton of damage.

Hitting Blue Chu Chu's with the Blizzard Rod turns them into White Chu Chu's. OMG! No more running around in the snow trying to find those suckers!

Finally found the 12th memory! It seems I just forgot that I could climb that's why I missed it lol.

Now 5 more shrines remaining.

the banana stealth segment is so stupid. Having to go into inventory to hold an item to throw is kind of annoying.

There are bananas strategically placed that you can shoot down via arrows.

Or just use Stasis+ lol.

Finished the
Death Mountain
beast.

Seemed really promising at first especially with the different approach sequence and the
darkness
but, nope, same old horseshit as the rest of them. Hell, might even be the simplest of the bunch. This game is turning out to be much more of an irritating tease in more areas than I expected. Going to finish up the Gerudo and Goron side quests tomorrow. I was going to do all the korok seeds before hitting Ganon but I might do them after.

At the moment this game is sitting at no. 5 for me as far Zelda games go. Once I start all the godawful grinding it might drop though. I don't see any way it goes any higher than 5 though.

nah its fine, it was a short segment so it wasnt a problem.

Exploring the north-west corner of the map and then it's time to hit up the Castle.

Excited to finish, though I'm gonna do clean up over the next few days, want to have every shrine and side quest done before I move on to NieR.
