He is. He makes Lothar look less like a threat. His backstory / origin is incredibly messed-up.

Awesome team morph, so hype. Way too many toy power ups for my liking, but there was still some good action in there. And I loved the idea of the villains fighting, something new for a team up.

Lothor was a funny villain who could get down when he needed to (NS finale), but Mesogog been real from the jump.

Mesogog's a dark and serious kind of villain. He works super well. Lothor was more on the funny side, but his real plan and final fight were legit serious and damn epic.

Saban is surprisingly lax with Youtube and Power Rangers. There are channels devoted to just uploading every single morph from every single episode, as soon as they air.

Red confirmed in an interview that they're bringing back rangers for Super Ninja Steel next year since that's the 25th anniversary.

At most it will be a voice over.
