I'm happy, but at the same time this is just going to galvanize the GOP base. When you live in that bubble, it's easy to see this as "increasing evidence" that "socialism" is something you can't "take back" and that once you give handouts people will obstruct everything in order to keep it.

I'm also not entirely sure what this means for the ACA moving forward.

To do what? Fight themselves?

They control all levels of government. They can't get it done, because their rhetoric doesn't match reality when they finally have power.

They can't do this because they're on the cusp of their own civil war, and because of the nonsense they've indoctrinated their own base. They squeaked by in an election, but the fundamentals of their problems have not changed.
