I'm really looking forward to trying out my Switch Pro Controller with this. That thing feels like the perfect character action game controller to me, and apparently it works on PC pretty easily.
Given that it's been 3 fucking years since Valkyria released on steam and sold incredibly well, I'm going to go with very very very god damned hard.
Nah, that's just supposed to say "less than 5 hours to go". 8-bit Bayonetta will be delisted in a little under three hours, however the timer isn't scheduled to end for another hour still.
Edit: Well, that or the person was under the impression that the two will coincide. Or maybe they're actually right and the countdown timer will abruptly end with an hour left, haha.

It was all a ruse; Bayonetta is actually coming to the N-Gage. Look for it next week in gaming magazines.

I guess a PS4 version could make some small sense, but this would have to be a serious remastering effort to bother releasing it on X1 when it already runs great on that system via backwards compatibility. I don't see the appeal.
Unless it's a 2-pack with its sequel.

If it's not exclusive to PC then it will be more than likely a multiplat title.
Let's hope they are porting the Wii U version without costumes since it got enhancements, instead of the Xbox 360 version.
Definitely not impossible based on the VC situation.

What enhancements? I legitimately remember nothing besides vsync and I played it multiple times.
Sega Japan came to a reasonable compromise and will allow one port every three years.
Look forward to Vanquish in 2020.

Still no idea why people are hoping for Bayo 2. The teaser would have included artwork from the second game as well if that was the case. This is clearly related to Bayonetta 1 only. No way is it a new sequel either, they would almost certainly use new key art for that.
Ugh, we're getting close. God I hope it's not just a release date announcement but the actual release. The timing of the countdown certainly points to the latter.

The hints all say Bayonetta on steam but I would not be surprised on bit if they are just releasing Bayonetta 1 & 2 on the Switch.

Shadows were slightly higher resolution on Wii U, though it also lost certain special effects so I'm hoping this is the 360 version. Easy enough to force better shadow res.

SEGA's been disappointing lately with Atlus' Persona 5 streaming regulations and also the Puyo Puyo JP streaming regulations that part of me hopes this is for the anime Bayonetta movie being announced for Steam.
However since SEGA EU is the one tweeting about it, yeah it's definitely the PC port for Bayonetta...I mean, it has to be.

Yes, let's announce a switch exclusive via Steam... I get that sega have a tendency to be daft, but a Steam related April Fools game launch with a hidden website within Steam achievements with tweets referring to Steam, doesn't scream "Switch announcements only" - it suggests something at the very least Steam related
Yeah, it's been changed to coincide with the delisting of 8-bit Bayonetta... which is what I thought was happening to begin with when I forgot to take DST into account earlier, haha.
