Will buy as soon as I'm done with persona 5
Fantastic, does it mess HUD/cutscenes?you can get 21:9 working with a hex edit guys![]()
So jealous of people playing this for the first time.
Enjoy it, it's a treat.

I'm glad more people get to experience one of the best hack and slash games ever made. Up there with DMC3, MGR & Bayonetta 2.

I do hope SEGA ports Vanquish next because more people need to experience that game as well.
Is this intentional for all in game cutscenes?
I never understood the appeal of endless combos.
At this point you're not really interacting with the enemy, its just a punching bag.
Unless its a fighting game, doing combos on AI dummies isn't great combat to me.
Anyway, different strokes.
So Playstation is the only one that's just never going to a have a proper Bayonetta huh? ;-;

760 is actually the recommended requirement!
And that digital foundry tweet earlier had a Radeon 7770 doing well at 60 fps. And that's like a 650, or maybe 660 equivalent.
I have the same card as you actually but sadly I have to wait for my internet to download the game before I can get into it.

Yup.
Why I prefer souls/Ninja gaiden. You fight to kill over stylish combos.
Probably why I suck at fighting games. Hate memorizing combos.

Fixed that for you.
Bayonetta 1 isn't about combos, they are just situational ways to input different strength of attacks during the short time frames you are actually safe from enemy attack. With the genius that is dodge offset this means that the game is a constant dance between offense and defense. The enemies are NEVER punching bags on the higher difficulties and are a constant threat. Same goes for you. This game is completely insane and makes the concept of doing flashy combos just for the sake of it pretty laughable. I do love DMC still, but god damn...

All character action games are locked at 60/90, framerate is tied to gamespeed.

uh, DMC4 does 120. and which game is locked at 90?
Ehh that's not true, the better you do in a fight in ninja gaiden (meaning higher combos, more variety), the more and bigger orbs the enemy drop, which mean more points and easier ultimate attack charging, you straight up get rewarded for big combos.
Eh. Beat Master Ninja both 1 and 2. Didn't need endless combos. Just some basic stuff.

The book is upside down!
I never realised that it is because it was all so low res before! But now I can clearly see it!
The book is upside down!
Truth. Bayo1 enemies are definitely not punching bags. That's why dodge offset is so crucial to the higher difficulties.
Dodge/Panther Offset is such a brilliant mechanic.
I get constant stuttering when rotating the camera, even on medium settings,
3440x1440 on i7-4790K, GTX970![]()
I have a weird glitch where any of the cutscenes with the film roll effect will have the video both within the film roll frames but also as a quarter size version inside each frame......
I really doubt it is meant to look like that, but it is very bizarre

Oh man, Nude Bayo is def coming. XD
