Microsoft likes launching consoles on Fridays. Destiny 2 is on friday. Destiny 2 launching same day as Scorpio would be huge for Destiny 2 xbox sales even without a marking deal like ps4. Just say it runs best on scorpio which happens to launch the same day!

I'd buy it with Destiny 2.

Got to love the 'no games' comments. As if the big multiplats that dominate sales don't exist on Xbox, or as if nobody loves top exclusives like Forza. Not to mention the high probability that they have been holding out on announcing new games strictly because they are about to launch this new system that they plan to unveil them on at E3.

Of course they have games, I think it's more to do with how little they have announced since 2015, they don't have many studios anyway and how they constantly talk about old games via BC, controllers and now a mid gen system upgrade

I know we're all hoping it's 399 (knowing very well it's value is much more than that, and insiders' prediction even points to that) but if it really is 399 that would sell so many more consoles thus so many more games games games that it would probably be a smarter move longterm. I know I would buy an extra 2-3 games easily during just the release day. Imagine the amount of extra consoles that price tag will amount to and then imagine the amount of extra games those people will get. Considering software is where most of the profit comes from that would be a smart move on MS' part.

I want to see some new exclusive games along with it, not For Scorpio but for xbone in general. 2017 is one of the best years in gaming and it feels like Xbox is running in the background this year.

This, there is nothing wrong with Forza, Gears and Halo but at the same time you know what to expect from these games already. I would love for some new experiences to push through and be big on xbox, some diverse ones at that. Give me a big hack and slash exclusive or some rpg, something other than shooting and racers!!!

Take more chances even if they don't sell all that well.

We good over here. I'm only saying $399.99 because it makes sense. After the original $499.99 launch I'd be surprise if they tried that again.

Money is not an issue I just know people who like to play games and don't care if it had enough tech to be sentient. They just want to play games.

Unless they only want Xbox fans to buy it.

No. It'll be just fine with dynamic resolution at 60fps on Xbox One and a 4K powerhouse on Scorpio and PC in 2018.

It will work on both Xbox consoles, with Scorpio being the obviously superior version to play. Both will hit 60fps, with the XBO making graphical sacrifices.

Ummm.. no. Not at all. That's like the opposite of what they're trying to achieve with the Scorpio. They'd get roasted if it ended up being exclusive after all that "no player left behind" talk.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ships with enhanced features though. Like increased splitscreen player count and what not.

To be fair, most people seem most turned on by state of decay.
