it even got an amazing DS game with stellar DLC
G Gundam only got three games exclusive to it plus it's in almost every Gundam game since, plus it's been in a ton of Super Robot Wars games. Totaling probably 10-20 titles across multiple consoles spanning back to the SNES.
And some of them had DLC too.
