Not blackmail, but expect phishing attempts. They have your personal information and can now throw it into their large database which probably already had some information about your online interactions, making it easier to phish new targets. Remember these are the people who've hacked a massive amount of Amazon accounts to begin with. Basically, be very wary of password reset notifications and things like that for Paypal, bank account, email provider, Steam account, etc even if they say your name outright. Check any link before you click from that sort of email and double check the address where the message came from.

when someone calls you on the phone or sends you letter to tell you you gotta pay for something or there will be bad consequences, google says there are two words for that:

extortion or blackmailing,

both words are Erpressung in german.

aaaanyway... I'll just let it go and learn from it, I never react to any emails anyway.
 
Slowly getting sucked into the Switch hype.

Do Nintendo have a history of decent bundles and console discounts towards the end of the year? Not expecting miracles because it's a new console obviously, but Game have certainly had a few incredible PS4 and X1 deals over the last few Christmases.

I think there will likely be a Mario or MK8 bundle, but unless sales slow right down, I wouldn't expect anything less than the current RRP but with a game thrown in.

Yeah fair enough. Switch + MK8 + Zelda or Mario Odyssey for £300 would be ideal but bit of a stretch. Thanks for the reply.

If this were to ever happen, just send a letter/email back saying you work for the police and the letter/email has been passed on to the serious fraud office.

You won't hear from them again.
 
Remember, Deluxe Edition isn't the same as Game Of The Year. It looks like the Deluxe RRP is crazily over-priced, considering it doesn't seem to include the DLC of the GOTY Edition.

Exactly, it's just a standard edition with some bonus perks, GOTY edition is where it's at. But either way, £3 still buys you a lot of game time.

I reckon Switch plus Mario Kart or Mario O will be £320 at Christmas, if not before.

I'm still not tempted but man I saw the Neon Switch in the window of CeX and that thing is just so pretty, like way more than you'd think from photos you've seen online. It really pops.

Hi eu (and hopefully some AU) gaffers, I'm after a new copy of Dragon quest VIII for the 3DS. Where's the cheapest right now? I think the cheapest is around £29 or $45 at ozgameshop? PAL version and international shipping required for anything outside Australia.

i think i mentioned the game being up for pre-order at the begining of may on amazon so i guess the entire steelbook stock has gone now and that's when new stock will be available but i was looking at the shoptu twitter and they said they expect some stock in 5 days on the 16th so it may be coming back in stock next week
 
Scouting around for a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe digital code.
ShopTo have it for £46.85... and that's the only place other than Amazon who have it at retail. GAME and CDKeys aren't offering it for some reason.
Anybody know of anywhere else I can get it?

You can buy two £25 eshop codes for £45.50 on CDKeys using their 5% off code but you need to make a new account.
 
Anyone got a good price on Puyo Puyo Tetris for Switch? I'm finding it kinda outrageous the Switch version is about twice the price of the PS4 version. I'd rather have it on my shiny new and portable console with two controllers.
I guess there is an argument here that the extra features of the console justify the extra price tag

£29.99 at Gameseek. (It was listed at £26.93 earlier last week, but when I tried checking out, the price was £29.99 & a phonecall to them confirmed that was the correct price).
 
Is it safe to assume the new Amiibo from the recent Direct are GAME exclusive in the UK or is there a chance their going to appear else where to buy online?

I now understand the frustration behind Nintendo and their fucking awful supply of just about anything. :/

Edit: And just seen ShopTo have them but are at the "Notify Me" stage. Mmight as well give up on owning all Zelda amiibo, lol
 
I am currently thinking about this. My PS4 is now 3 years old and very loud sometimes. I would enjoy more image quality in 1080p.
