for square side i hope to kh3 and final fantasy 7 remake but i think they might save final fantasy 7 remake for psx 2017

What are the chances they show FFVIIR and KH3 footage?

I expect them to pick one and show it. I'd put my money on FFVIIR since this is the anniversary year of FF, so I'd expect the focus overall to be on FF this year. I'm also making the assumption that they're further along in development for FFVIIR.

On the other hand, they may have some stand alone FF anniversary event that hasn't been announced yet for this year, which I guess is possible given the circumstances of this year for FF, and if that's the case I'd expect them to save all things FF for that.

Yeah...I really hope we see some substantial FFVIIR footage at E3.

Give me something yakuza. Still allowing myself to believe ishin might be brought over.
Fromsoft annoucement and some updates on square enix properties should be enough.

What could Sony be planning? I really hope they don't get complacent. This is an opportunity to really dig in and set the pace for them. Software/services.

An example is PSN although improved it not intuitive when it comes to getting in and out while gaming. Having to go the the profile to friend request someone in Destiny should be way easier with less steps.

Hopefully we get some surprises.

Looking forward to this Show?
Sony is at a point where they are doing insanely well at catering to the core with their ongoing games line-up, but they are also at the point where they need to do the following:

1) Start to expand their audience by appealing to non-core gamers, with more family and casual focused titles as the console price continues to lower. This is important if they want to get to 100m and beyond, or they will ultimately hit a brick wall.

2) PSN 2.0 - they need some fresh features and services through innovation. As it is things have become a little stale. And if MS won't bring back 1vs100, perhaps Sony could do something similar to stand out from the crowd. The time is right.

That said, I'd be surprised if Sony isn't already working on both these points as they have done in previous generations. I also think they're missing a trick laying LBP to rest. I think Sackboy has a lot of charm and they really need to bring him (and Sackgirl) back - it doesn't even need to be a LBP game. Sackboy Adventures?

Sony can't even officially launch PS Now in Germany. Maybe they should first finish what they announced years ago.

Give me Shenmue HD Collection and...

...give me a release date.

Dreams looks amazing, painting come to life, the stuff they do on their dev streams is great. Need a date.

Its time to join the hype train!!!

What's this?

I feel for the EU audience. But you know you must stay up and watch it with the rest of us live. Tis tradition! :)
I do every year, never missed a conference from Sony yet. 2am here I come.

Between this and possibly another PS Experience event, they have so many real deal games to show this year.

I'm most interested in seeing more of Death Stranding and God of War.

It would great to see more of FFVIIR, but given that this is Square Enix we're dealing with I wouldn't even count on it showing up again till 2018...

Of course, just need to keep the next day free :)

Sony is always my favourite conference. It's just much more relaxed and less robotic than Microsoft's usually is, I think it always helped that it was in the evening, although MS also has that advantage this year.

Yeah PS Now has been such a fumble. Can't believe we still can't use it in most of Europe.
Trust me, you're not missing anything. The idea is great, but the execution - due to the realities of the internet - is poor. You'll try a few games, get frustrated with the lag, and just go back to normality again.

And those that say there is no lag are lying, and they're probably the same people who don't put their TVs in to game mode.

I wish Sony would give up with PS Now and concentrate on offering a service like MS will be doing soon instead. But it seems Sony is investing even more in PS Now soon and adding PS4 games to the service, so it doesn't look like that will be happening any time soon unfortunately :(

That last symbol. Hmmm. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 PlayStation 5 confirmed. Dualshock 5 to have a 5th face button. You heard it here first, folks.

Here are my predictions for all the currently announced upcoming first-party titles (save for Farpoint and LocoRoco Remastered, which will be out before E3):

  • Days Gone (SIE Bend Studio) - Release date (currently TBA), gameplay demonstration
  • Death Stranding (Kojima Productions) - Trailer
  • Detroit: Become Human (Quantic Dream) - Release date (currently TBA), trailer
  • Dreams (Media Molecule) - Beta release date (currently TBA)
  • Everybody's Golf (SIE Japan Studio / Clap Hanz) - Nothing, playable on the show floor
  • God of War (SIE Santa Monica Studio) - Release window (currently TBA), trailer
  • Gran Turismo Sort (SIE Japan Studio / Polyphony Digital) - Release date (currently 2017), trailer
  • Knack 2 (SIE Japan Studio) - Release date (currently 2017), trailer
  • The Last of Us Part II (Naughty Dog) - Release window (currently TBA), trailer
  • MatterFall (Housemarque) - Nothing, maybe in sizzle video or playable on the show floor
  • The Modern Zombie Taxi Co. (Vitei Backroom) [PSVR] - Nothing, cancelled
  • Patapon Remastered (SIE Japan Studio) - Nothing, maybe in sizzle video or playable on the show floor
  • Spider-Man (Insomniac Games) - Release date (currently TBA), trailer
  • Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (Naughty Dog) - Trailer, maybe gameplay demonstration
  • V! No More Heroes R (SIE Japan Studio) [PSVR] - Nothing
  • WipEout Omega Collection (XDev / Clever Beans / EPOS Game Studios) - Nothing, maybe in sizzle video or playable on the show floor
  • WiLD (Wild Sheep Studios) - Nothing

Now, possible announcements from first/second-party:

  • Bluepoint Games - Something?
  • From Software - New title
  • Guerrilla Games - Horizon DLC Expansion
  • Sucker Punch - New title
  • SIE Japan Studio - I don't know, something

I'm not sure what to guess when it comes to third-parties. Obviously Activision will be there, probably with a gameplay demonstration of Call of Duty: WWII, exclusive content highlights for Destiny 2, and maybe a trailer for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Bandai Namco will probably announce release dates for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, since both are scheduled for 2017. Capcom will probably debut the latest character trailer for Street Fighter V and announce Devil May Cry 5. Maybe if we're lucky, there's an actual reason Capcom filed a new Deep Down trademark earlier this year, and that will finally be shown. Sega will hopefully announce the rumored Shenmue 1&2 HD Collection. And Square Enix, again if we're lucky, will shown new trailers for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III. Maybe they'll have some unforeseen new announcement like they did that one year with World of Final Fantasy. It is Final Fantasy's 30th anniversary, so I imagine there will be something. The PS4 version of Dissidia Final Fantasy would be nice, at least. Oh, I'd also like Dragon Quest XI confirmed for the west, but if that happened at E3, maybe they'd do that separately via a press release given that it's also on 3DS.

Mainly, I just want neat surprise reveals, so not really sure what to guess outside of what's already been announced / Devil May Cry 5.

I'll honestly be pretty happy if we get more info on games that got announced in the last 1-2 years, especially Spider Man. I'm not sold on Days Gone, so if that game got some good info that would be cool. I'm sure we will see God of War. And I'm sure they will be atleast 2-3 reveals.

Ain't no way last of us 2 is going to be at this e3. Gameplay at psx and release date trailer next year e3. I would say the same for death stranding but kojima is crazy and he will probably have another trailer revealing a new character( probably the female character? Emma stone?)

Nah. This is a forward-thinking initiative and was always going to be. They'll be well-placed in the future, they've just got to ride out the next... Like, 10 years. :P
