What's fair for you, may not be fair for others, that's life. If on Monday it was on any other time other then 4-6 pm pacific I wouldn't be able to watch it because of work. 6 pm pacific means most people are home from work in that timezone and people on the east coast as well.
Insomniac has two studios, although they've been doing a bit of cross-country collaborating recently. Typically the original Burbank studio works on their main game, and the Durham NC studio works on Ratchet & Clank. So while Spider-Man looks like one of their most ambitious games to date, it's possible they could also be working on R&C as well.

Sony Japan should have new stuff in the oven with TLG and Gravity Rush 2 out but it is too early for them. I think they will be the next big studio announcement though.
I think we can expect bombs but it is probably best to figure there won't be any. It'll make the bomb drop even better.

RDR2 in September? A production was filming some live action footage for a unnamed videogame open world sequel coming in September. Sounds like Red Dead.

Everything about that seems to point to RDR2, even though live action isn't something Rockstar usually does. But I don't think Rockstar's silence means a delay, so I'm hopeful about this September release. I think we'll see something soon.

It's the truth. I'm sorry that it hurts, but that's just how it goes. Resistance and Syphon Filter are dead and buried IPs, hence their irrelevance. Meanwhile, Souls games are not only commercial and critical successes but they've also spawned a subgenre which other developers are wanting a piece of.

Well they sell (a lot) better and review better, so he's not wrong. They're hugely influential too, inspiring indies like Salt & Sanctuary and Death's Gambit as well a bigger budget releases like Nioh and The Surge,.

Resistance 1 sold well mainly because it was a launch title on the PS3, which at the time had barely any games to play.

I think Bloodborne is the best game ever made, but I don't want a sequel. Let it be the standalone masterpiece that it is and gives us a new IP that puts a similar fresh spin on the Souls genre, From.

I agree with you though I would be devastated if we never got another Killzone.
KZ2 and KZ3 (and mercs!) are some of my favourite FPS games and the MP is always amazing.
Sure KZ: SF wasn't great but I'd like to see GG tackle their franchise again in a coupe years.

I'm afraid the existence of Metal Gear is very much trapped inside a pachinko machine. Now that is ironic.
My days refresh June 1st so I am taking both Monday and Tuesday off. I usually have a hard time sleeping after Sony's conference because I like to discuss it till late into the night after.

Even if there (finally) was news again, Sony sadly haven't found the game important enough for E3 presentations prior. Also, because of its low key handling so far, I can't wait for the uninformed viewers calling it a Zelda ripoff in the future.
