So forgive me if this has been already covered- is this the first Madden that will only be on PS4/XB1?
Also, darn, was kind of hoping for Switch. We haven't had great portable Madden in a long, long time. Buying FIFA for this reason, but soccer (unless it's straight garbage), so hopefully we'll see Madden migrate eventually!

Interesting, the Xbox Live pre-order page says Online Multiplayer: 2-6 players. Have you been able to do more than 2 players recently? I remember they had some 4 player coop mode a few years ago but I don't remember that being online...
Maybe it's for some other mode, skills challenge, or something like that.

Damn this looks like EA finally is upgrading Madden with a new engine. The fact that this will only be on current gen hardware is encouraging and the new additions have me excited. But as a Giants fan I just can't bring myself to buy this with this cover. So in order to make this acceptable for purchase I've decided to make a few tweaks. Sorry about the quality as my photoshop skills are not that great.

I'm a huge Tom Brady fan but even I have to admit he isnt the greatest of all time. He's had some good plays and even though he's muh boy there is no denying he cheated too much a in past seasons to get his team to the superbowl... good player but the cheating prevents him from ever beingthe best. The game info has my attention for the first time in Madden history, Brady being on the cover is just icing on the cake. We all know he is the true GOAT. And he never cheated.

I am actually one of his children (same say I am the favorite) and I can admit that he is a cheating asshole who got where he was by breaking the rules.
Even his backups win like 80% of the time.
I am not even that impressed with his parenting.

Gameplay wise it feels better and more loose. Animations though...christ. There are legit better animations in 2K5, not all of them though.
You obviously didn't play 2k much. Just the ability to run the ball without getting sucked in by animations is better than anything Madden has put out since 98.

Interesting, Team play might be back. Team play was 3v3 one player was qb, one was rb and the other wr. Its was fun, hope its integrated in to Connected Franchise and you can have 3 people (or 4 with coach) on the same team.
