You'll get different opinions on Brady here, but when you see GOAT mentioned along with someones name, it typically they are the best to ever do what they do.

Greatest (football player/QB) of all time.
Greatest (baseball player) of all time.
Greatest (basketball player) of all time.
Greatest (cereal) of all time.
Greatest (game) of all time.
Etc.. etc..

GOAT has never been a thing exclusively for games, it started when talking about the best basketball player, it just means greatest of all time

They've wrecked this franchise. I'm not sure they have a sound plan going forward. Their biggest money tournament can't muster more than 4k views, MUT gets boring because casuals don't want their heads bashed in by folks trying to climb ladders to qualify for tournaments. There was no reason to run a 99 MUT squad because EA made salary cap mode the defacto MUT Mode, and casuals didn't enjoy salary cap mode because you have the tourney goons trying to qualify for tourneys.

Lastly, their slider/tuner settings were completely fucked on various modes. All-Pro salary cap felt different from H2H which is different from Draft Champs. Tourney players showed up to the Feb event and all of a sudden they could run the ball much more effectively, settings/tuners were different from the ones we played with for months. EA states that there's no difference in any modes,who do you believe?

I guess they want to segment the populations, let the competitive players do their thing, casuals do theirs, and keep that MUT money rolling in. All-Madden 17 CFM prepatch felt and played like the best game they've put out. Had issues with fumbles but that was an easy fix, they wrecked the game in future patches.

No faith in these guys, and yet I'll still be there day one.

Look, more than 70% of the people I chat football to are Dolphins fans, so it's biased. But I'm telling you not a single one of these dudes will buy anything with Tom Brady on it. Shit, even my fantasy football Whatsapp group is swearing off it already, and that's a mix of Cowboys, 49ers and Panthers fans.

I'd give this some balance by saying that I know a Pats fan or two that said they'll now buy it when they wouldn't have previously but lol at ever even speaking with that kind of filth.
