Ah see, I'm not that cool. No to every other game, sorry to disappoint :( EDIT: Oh that's right I do remember the PR statement that Sony and Rockstar will bring "Exclusive content"..

Don't worry ;). Many people don't know the marketing deal despite being confirmed. I guess as we draw closer to the release it will be more obvious (hopefully with a PS4 pro themed bundle too).

Got some more leaks for you guys.

3. I've been hearing a lot about Insomniac's Spider-Man. From what i've played the combat has web based powers. It's literally a really good game.

4. This one is a little risky, but i hear Sony is working on something.

That's all i got, see you at E3.
Whether he was lying or not what dickish move

Without knowing where Coma works but if he saw and got to play God of War recently I wonder if we'll see some cover story coverage from Edge or Game Informer being revealed in the next couple of weeks??

There's no need to be an ass.

Obligatory.

Basing these predictions on their "likelihood" of appearing:

Highly likely:

- God of War demo
- Spider-Man demo
- Days Gone trailer
- Destiny 2 demo
- Uncharted: TLL trailer

Likely:

- New Death Stranding trailer
- SP's new IP reveal + gameplay
- Dreams update
- Detroit: Become Human update

Possible:

- Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay
- From Software new IP reveal
- FFVIIR trailer
- KH3 trailer

Unlikely:

- TLOU Part II new trailer/gameplay
- Devil May Cry 5 reveal -

The further you go down this is, the better Sony's conference will become. If we look at what they did last year, the "unexpected" was why people said that Sony ran away with it. As such, while there is nothing wrong with things under the "highly likely" category happening, I rather see the things under the "possible" and "unlikely" since that would catch people off guard.

...

Not too sure about the DMC5 though... Then again, I'm holding off for Dissidia to be coming to consoles, so who am I to say what is a reasonable speculated guess?

My Prediction

Open with an orchestra. The music sounds kinda familiar, but the audience isn't quite sure yet. Music hits it's climax and a re-arranged version of Omen fades in as a Bloodborne II logo is revealed. Trailer for Bloodborne II is shown.

Playstation montage showing already announced games.

God of War is demoed. Features a boss fight.

Sucker Punch's new game is revealed.

Lost Legacy is demoed followed by a trailer.

Dreams gets a new demo featuring the story mode. Beta is announced for the summer. Game releases this fall/winter.

Kingdom Hearts III is re-revealed. Coming out Spring 2018

Final Fantasy VII trailer is shown. First episode releasing in Fall 2017.

VR Showcase

Red Dead Redemption Remastered is announced. Release later this summer with exclusive PSVR content (Rockstar will later delay RDR2 until 2018)

Destiny 2 gameplay.

Call of Duty gameplay.

Battlefront 2 gameplay.

Close the show with "one more thing". Gustavo Santaolalla is on stage and starts to play his guitar. He plays The Last of Us theme. TLoU2 gets a demo, and Gustavo plays along with a little help from the orchestra. The demo ends in an epic fashion reminiscent of the original TLoU stage demo.

Show ends.

So I'll answer this NOT from any contact I know, I'll answer this from my personal professional (Analytics works, predicting trends etc).

Yes at E3, I don't know who's camp is getting that marketing deal. My guess that I would put money on is Sony.

Ah see, I'm not that cool. No to every other game, sorry to disappoint :( EDIT: Oh that's right I do remember the PR statement that Sony and Rockstar will bring "Exclusive content".

I do not know any other games. Personally I don't expect it to be there.

Have you heard or seen anything related to SOCOM?

That would be a good show, I'd be happy with that. I do want to see something from the Spider-man game though.

Also, I said two years ago when it was announced they'd make ep. 1 in time for late 2017 and its 20th anniversary...I have given up on that dream though :(

God of War looks great and I expect it to be released this year.

Why do you expect it this year? God of War is not coming out in 2017.

No way Sony competes with Destiny 2, CoDWW2 and RDR2 with God of War this fall. They have the marketing and the bundles to get them through just fine.

When was the last time Sony competed in the fall season with a major AAA title? All i can think of is launch week.

I honestly forgot about Spider-Man as well as Detroit, Gran Turismo, Days Gone, and Death Stranding. Sony has too many games!

Edit: Then again, they gotta save some games for other shows like PGW and TGS

I actually think Sony is the biggest mystery going into E3. Nintendo nad MS obviously have to have new stuff ready to show since they don't really have many games currently announced, but Sony does. Sony could seriously put on a top notch show just by showing more of what they've already announced. Will they do something like that or continue doing what they've done with previously conferences? Because despite all they have announced, they've actually been quiet this year in comparison to the other two.

Exactly. It just makes no sense to me that anyone expects God of War in Fall 2017. It will most likely be March 2018.

GT Sport and Knack 2 will be 2017 games.

Spider-Man is a lock so the press conference is already a winner in my book.

Apparently it was playable start to finish in December of 2016. I could see it being done in time for a 2017 release.

But considering how crowded the holiday release schedule it is this year, I could see them moving it to early 2018 just to have some space to breathe.

Are they really a mystery if we know the majority is going to be updates on already announced games?

Not to say "Bloodborne 2 is not happening!" but part of me wonder about the whole thing and how this was first teased.

From what I can tell, articles keep posting about the Ori and the Blind Forest developer that says "I'm 99% certain we'll see it." Nothing against Thomas Mahler of course, but that does seem slightly off to speculate if the only thing that leads us to think of a possible Bloodborne sequel is mainly because "I'm certain we'll see it." Of course, if it does happen, you won't see me complaining about being wrong, but honestly, I'm not going to act like it is a wasted opportunity if it doesn't happen this year.

You know how sony always has those sizzle reel sections in their conference with indie games. I feel like they have to do that with their AAA games too now. I don't see how Sony will have the time to show everything they've announced + third party partner games + new games.

They never show everything, some material comes previous to E3 other trailers just after the conference.
Gravity Rush 2 for example wasn't on stage but it had a E3 trailer.

So two things, one I'm not sure what the rule is on GAF for vetting, but I don't want to mention who he/she is, but they have zero reason to fibb.

1. God of War is fucking amazing. You are absolutely not prepared for what this game is.
2. TBD on vetting, I don't want to disclose any info of person and risk getting banned. It's firmware related.

I can't wait for E3.
#2 has to be PSX and PSP. At least I hope it is.

Did the person you talked to say anything about what the firmware was going to be?
Or at least hint at anything?

That's what I'm hoping too.

I'd take an RDR2 delay in return for RDR Remastered. I'd love to be able to play on PS4 with updated graphics and a few resolved technical issues.

I don't know if we'll ever get a remaster at this point, but it'd be nice.

If Insomniac and Sony have Spider-Man gameplay to show, then I bet they start off with that. It's something familiar, yet new to get everyone hyped at the start. No orchestra, just jump straight into it. Then go through the normal reveals of gameplay and stuff, and end it with Sucker Punch's new IP.

Nothing was supposed to happen at last year's E3. Considering Jason at Kotaku debunked some of the alleged gaf insider bs and that Rockstar revealed the game 4 months later themselves, I mean it's pretty obvious.
I didn't say there was. I said that talk could lead someone to believe it would lead to a showing here.

Ahh, fake insiders

E3 is truly upon us
