It is always amazing how one can watch Fox News reporting facts while one pretends, for the sake of an experiment, that the president is honest and democrats and liberals are cheating, and voila - find it is quite a comfortable shoe.
It's really subtle, they just edge some words in there and bang it's enough to fit a flipped narrative if that's what you want to cling to.
Even this Comey letter thing: unclear which call "made him uncomfortable" (implying most calls didn't) and "of COURSE the White House denied it" (implying of course it's a smear).
Its quite a special talent to do it in such a subtle manner all the time.

This is all pretty damning but realistically Trump isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Republican politicans would be going way against type to sack one of their own. Outwardly at least, bad deeds by a fellow Republican will have no significant consequences as long as the current Republicans are in control. The words they say are all self-serving manipulations for a particular point in time. They only say them calculatedly to achieve specific goals. Any actual morals they may have are outweighed by their need to retain power at any cost. Nothing will happen. Depressing but true.
