How long does it usually take for Mondo to get DD stuff up for sale?

It's gone up within the hour Data Discs' posting in the past. Guess there's no guarantee but it's been consistent for the last 5 releases or so.
While this is true, it appears that it may be different now?
On Facebook, someone asked, "Will this be available from Mondo as usual?"
DD's response was, "Yes, next Wednesday."
Still perfectly fine for those who aren't interested in grabbing the LE.
Got my Transistor today. Looks gorgeous, but this makes two vinyls in a row I've gotten where the record sleeves have rips. Last one was for Castlevania 3. I emailed Mondo and nwver heard back. Now with Transistor, it is both sleeves, both ripped twice---center left and center right, as if the record were too large for the sleeves so they ripped at seams. Kind of irritated.

I like the art! Still yet to be known how they fit so much music on 2 LPs.

Isn't it possible they just omitted some tracks?
I fucking love these folks. <3Q. What made you decide on vinyl over compact discs? Is there any particular philosophy behind the label?
To us, vinyl is anything but a retro format; its always been relevant and vital to the kinds of music we enjoy. As for our label philosophy, fundamentally were a record label and not a merchandise company, which is something we hope is reflected in our pricing and general ethos. We consider our records to be standalone albums, rather than nostalgic souvenirs or novelties, and we hope that people beyond the gaming community find them accessible and enjoyable. Its just interesting, pioneering electronic music on a format that, besides being our favourite, also compliments the audio in new and interesting ways. In many ways, were a DIY label in the traditional sense. We just happen to focus on audio sourced from video games.
Data Discs did a nice little interview with Games You Loved (.com)

I mean, I would heavily argue their decision to put individual releases out for Castlevania I and II (and priced as they were). And everybody here know I'm not a fan of them using their poster artists instead of sourcing original art. Like, look at how good the Gunstar Heroes album art tells you that it's Gunstar Heroes compared to the disconnected masturbatory diarrhea of Castlevania III's album art.Mondo's pricing for stuff like Castlevania, Contra, and Silent Hill have been pretty decent, in my opinion.
Should've made one record grey and the other silver.
Q. Can you talk us through the process of making a release?
For the captures, we tap the audio at the chip and bypass the consoles inbuilt pre-amp, opting instead to use our own high quality pre-amps to reduce noise and bring the levels up. Then our general mastering duties involve taking care of the dynamic range and timings, phase incompatibilities and any problematic areas in the frequency range (often there are unpleasant sounds that you wouldnt notice through a TV, but become distracting when played on a standalone hi-fi setup). We also make some creative choices to bring together the body of the sound and ensure that everything suits the vinyl format.
edit: one thing I just noticed about Gunstar Heroes is that the LE is on 140g vinyl, while the solid colors are 180g. I think all previous LEs were 180g, weren't they? Not a deal breaker, by any means, but I wonder if it's to keep the costs on their end identical across all three options.
They said it includes 120 minutes, which is what is worrisome.

Castlevania II is like seven minutes long, repeated twice (if you even want to count the unlistenable Famicom Disk version). For $20.Agree about CV1 & 2. Those should have been a single 12". But as individual 10" records, the pricing wasn't bad ($20, as I recall).
Their art is hit or miss for me. CV1 & 3 are weak. CV2 and Contra 3 are fantastic. Silent Hill is somewhere in between.
Disconnected masturbatory diarrhea is my favorite phrase of today, though. LOL
It sounds like there will be a special edition of that Witcher 3 album, that comes with an extra LP of the Heart of Stone DLC soundtrack. It'll be on red and blue vinyl and is exclusive to some German site called Gaya (EDIT: Seems like they only distribute, so I'm not actually sure where this will be available from). Don't know if it goes live on the same date as the 2LP version.
Looking at the official flac soundtrack for Witcher 3 from my GOG version, it's 35 tracks for a total of 1 hour 20 minutes 50 seconds. Sooo... yeah. Doesn't sound like it's missing anything?
I saw the images they posted on instagram. Looks superb. Finally got a shipping notification for Hyper Light Drifter.
Gunstar Heroes ltd ed. is ordered!
Same here, got the limited edition, along with the gold Golden Axe 1&2, which I don't have yet. How exciting is it when that "SECRET DATA" email shows up?
Haha, yeah, I love this system. It works extremely well!
Still haven't got my code for GH. It's always worked before![]()
