It seems that stuff mentioned is the season pass:

The season pass is not "all future DLCs" but this specific content: a game mode, two guest characters and stages, a lot of costumes.

The thing I hate is when characters are greyed out in the select screen with a link to buy them like in MKX. Does SF do that too? I get the feeling they're going to do that here as well.

Also I wonder about the online play if I buy it from cdkeys - is it going to put me against people in my area or where cdkeys bought the key from...

That's kinda keeping me from pulling the trigger on that cd-keys price, I just know they'll do it with this too. Probably with the stages too.

If you could get them with a reasonable grind with in-game currency that would be different. More like For Honor, which I don't mind at all. People who don't want to wait can buy coins to get them, others can play for a week, saving up coins and get them that way.

They won't be that good about it will they.

Apparently CDKeys isn't providing the pre-order bonus. Steam and GamersGate are, though.

It looks like T7 -doesn't- do that actually. Folks without Eliza don't have her on the character select screen at all.

No, these are brand new costumes. The ones in-game, you buy with Fight money which can only be earned by playing the game.

"hundreds" here means that you can use the same baseball cap for all characters, so that's already 35 costumes.
