Battlefield1 looks amazing on XB1. I am inclined to believe that they can hit 4k.

The October development software will be in final beta at least beginning of September. The last three Forzas were September titles (mainly because racing games tend to go under when the juggernauts hit) and I don't see it being any different this time. I think September 29th is a likely release date for Scorpio and Forza 7.

Pretty much all the major shooters have been 60fps on console this gen.
That's why there's so much furore over Bungie sticking with 30fps for Destiny 2.

Indeed. Halo 5, Doom, BF1, Wolfenstein; all FPS that come to my mind are 60fps. Weird that Bungie didnt follow this tendency.

Software Certification. Devs have had dev kits for awhile.
I'd guess November 16th or 17th is the release date. Last Thursday or Friday before Black Friday.

Okay but Shadow of War was confirmed for Scorpio and releases August 22nd. Does that mean it will receive a patch ala PS4Pro games? Or will the game be Scorpio ready out of the case?
If Scorpio launches in November, I'll be very disappointed. I don't want to wait an extra five months after E3. I was pissed waiting two months for PS4 Pro.

Yeah it'll be an update. Games with Scorpio support still release on Xbox One so they won't wait for Scorpio to drop to release their games, but they can say they are working on supporting it. I'm sure tons of games will release the update as soon as they finish cert so not everything is out on the day of release.

Only problem with this is that it doesn't matter if the update/patch is out once it's finished if Scorpio isn't yet. For example, Shadow of War releases August 22nd, let's say the patch is October 1st but Scorpio is November. UGH. That patch is useless until Scorpio is released. I'm a sad panda.

If it comes out in November or so, I am just going to wait to buy some of the games that come out before it releases. For one, it could save some money and get some games on sale, the other reason is that if Scorpio will have the best version, might as well wait until I have the unit to experience the game in it's best.

While that is true, these project names are always used deliberately to conceal the identity of the console, the name never bears a relation to the actual device e.g. Durango = Xbox One / NX = Switch / Neo = Ps4 Pro.
My opinion is we shouldn't use the name as an inidicator of when it will release. Anyhow we'll find out in less than 2 weeks!

When I read it, I didn't assume that the punchline was that the poster and his friend were the same sex. I took it that the punchline was that the husband and wife do 'sickening' things.
It was either that or friends doing things that should be reserved for married couples.

I doubt any alterations now (for what reason(s)?) and that the HW has been locked down for a long time. Isn't the motherboard render from last E3 unchanged even?
I can definetly see a lot of games being able to do 4k60fps like Battlefront 2. However, it won't be with more than medium-ish graphic settings. I mean, even a GTX 1080 and GTX 1080ti has problems with ultra settings at 4k60fps.
In general 4k60fps is capable on normal PS4 and Xbone too, you just need to heavily lower the graphic settings.

Yeah that's probably true. I was just wondering if developers feedback tweaked the system. It's a bit late to do a major change of course. Maybe it will be SDK updates more than anything.
That would be crazy and amazing. Don't see it happening but it would be a major departure from what usually happens. Early launch seemed to work out for Nintendo, so maybe it could for MS.

I'm always wary about talk of devs shaping a system with all the complaints of the current gens CPU.....More like devs choosing a compromise!
