Game soundtracks on vinyl | Analogue Gen 33fps

Does Mondo do repressings? I missed the Castlevania LPs.

Like sixteen-bit said, the first two are still available. And yes, they do reprint these: I bought CV2 and 3 at the same time, and at that time CV1 was sold out. They reprinted it a couple months later and I was able to buy it then.

So I would think they might reprint CV3 when Super Castlevania 4 or Symphony of the Night release.

A redditor posted a link to the 3LP Witcher release. You can already preorder it now (€40): http://www.game-legends.com/product...the-witcher-3-soundtrack-limited-edition-3-lp

praise be.

edit: holy crap, says only 100 made?!

Maybe there are five retailers each which 100 copies to sell.

The site says "Only 100 pieces are available worldwide and you can get it only here at Game Legends."

They're the retail outlet of Gaya Entertainment (who SL9 said was the only seller of this), so I doubt it'll be available elsewhere.

So it's just that color variation that's limited to 100 and is only on that site, right? The standard will be on ThinkGeek?

[EDIT] Ooh, it comes with Hearts of Stone music too. Gotcha.

Looks like it is finally unavailable. Thanks for posting the link. I was able to get one.

Had the 3LP version in my cart, and after I put in my info it said it was sold out. Think I'm going to pass on the whole W3 release now. I fucking hate the idea that there is a limited edition 3 LP set. Makes you feel like you got the incomplete version if you get the standard 2.

Have iam8bit sold unlicensed soundtracks before? That's a surefire way of losing some potential business from IP holders.

This isn't unlicensed and no they haven't done so previosly either (although I guess they ran into legal issues with the Cosmic Tunes album, but that was because of the planned artwork, I believe).

IIRC rules relating to arranged music and cover albums are more lenient compared to original soundtracks. It's the same reason they can do the arranged Zelda: Ocarina of Time release.

oh just found this thread!

just one question, there is no way to get Bloorborne or any of the souls games on Vinyl right? I really wanted to have those one vinyl

All 3 Dark Souls games will be released later this year, although it hasn't been announced exactly when. No news about any Bloodborne release, though.

Holy shit. Sold out already? Why the fuck did they only do 100? I'm in same boat now. I love The Witcher 3 OST, but it is hard to buy 2 LP set knowing that I'm missing out, and that MAYBE we'll eventually get the 3 LP set here.

That Johto release is about the most boring artwork I've ever seen for a release too.

To be fair (and I don't stick up for iam8bit often), there's probably legal rights to putting anything too Pokemon related on the artwork, since it's pretty much an unofficial soundtrack release.

...That being said the artwork is still garbage, hah.

as I heard Atlus itself is handling all the process for that LP, even the artwork, so it shouldn't be as bad

EDIT: and yeah, that isn't the final artwork, atlus is still working on the production

Sources on that? No offense or anything, but why would Atlus use iam8bit for marketing and distro, arguably their two weakest points.

I just don't believe that Atlus would go through the trouble of producing this LP, going through all this effort and then just hand it off to another company.

Night Trap purple 7" preorders open on June 7 via Ship To Shore's own page. There will also be a LRG exclusive version, but I'm not sure how it's different.

I believe that they are working together as far as I know from the product page:

https://store.iam8bit.com/collections/vinyl/products/persona-5-vinyl-soundtrack

We're so proud to be releasing the Persona 5 soundtrack that, together with ATLUS and SEGA, we decided to do something rather radical - we're going to document and share the entire process of creating a vinyl album with Persona 5 fans, from start to finish.
also
And then finally...

Artwork - We'll reveal the "Mystery Album Art," the result of an intimate collaboration between iam8bit, Atlus, SEGA and a to be announced, top secret artist ;-)
