that U6 stuff was...garbage. So much potential for new saiyans and this is what we get.

Actually, you have no idea where it's truly headed. You don't know how fights with them will go, or what abilities they might possess that you aren't aware of. Also, we don't have any idea just how much further Kale's power can rise. She might have a level beyond what we've seen. There was an indication that her power could keep rising.

I know a lot of you may have already seen this, but I have to put it here. This image of Caulifla is great. She works so well in the 90's DBZ style. Big props to salvamakoto, that dude is so talented.

Sorry about the size. I don't remember how to shrink the image.

This is really good.

I might die from laughter if it's eventually revealed Universe 7 Saiyans pale in comparison to Universe 6 Saiyans.

For sort of the same reason U7 has a low mortal rating, it could be that the U6 saiyans are much better genetic stock.

U7 saiyans spent their time warring amongst each other, then most were killed, U6 went the opposite way and still did a lot of fighting, but while uplifting everyone else. By not killing each other they would have a larger selection pool for the best warriors among them.

While it's a bit of a stretch that a larger species population wise never discovered transformations, if you squint your brain a little you can somewhat make it make sense that their base forms are much more powerful on average, such that teens are matching Vegeta and Goku who have been through a lot, on base form.

It is however pretty funny to think about that Cabbas, Caulifla's, and maybe Kales base forms would have likely skated through every DBZ arc without difficulty, but eh, we're in for the ride.

God I miss that artstyle.
I miss not lanky scrawny people.

I wish I could enjoy Super way more.

I mean they kind of do. Cabba with no special training, as far as we know, and zero idea of SSJ was able to fight with Vegeta in base mode after he trained with Whis. And Caulifa and Kale have more potential and talent than him.

Man I really disliked ep 93.

Frieza stuff was just terrible. The lack of fight by everyone but Vegeta regarding Frieza was just so unbelievable. Goku's interactions with Frieza were rushed. This is the first time they've met without wanting to kill each other and there was only a few lines.

The U6 stuff was meh. I can buy these guys turning into SSJ but I really don't like the introduction of this focusing energy in the back. It's just so out of the blue. And it makes it harder and harder to believe that all saiyans in both universes never did that before lol.

I like Caulifla but her turning SSJ2 was the dumbest shit ever. No build up or anything. Absolutely awful. Kale's voice is super annoying as well.

Easily the weakest episode of the arc for me. Execution was horrific.

Eh, let's not be so sure of this. I can understand getting one's hopes up for this sort of thing, but it's Japan and a master-student dynamic. Kale doesn't necessarily want anything romantic from Caulifa, she just wants her praise and attention. A jealous friend who thinks that her idol is going to get a boyfriend and forget about her is a common anime dynamic, so I'm keeping my progressive excitement in check until we get something concrete.

Also, this is clearly setting up a conflict in the next arc. More than likely, Caulifa ends up falling for Goku or Vegeta, which prompts Kale to go nuts again mid-tournament.

Japan isnt exactly shy about lesbian relationships, one of the most famous shows this year are about dragon lesbians.

So I'm assuming in the next episode
Frieza will either kill the assassins, and the God of Destruction will say it's U7 sabotaging their team, or Frieza will surprise Goku and let them live, so he can play Goku and keep Goku on the track of wishing him back to life.

With Beerus, I guess they'll either lock him in something like Elder Kai and the Z sword,
or he'll be sent to another dimension. I didn't get the idea mouseman wants to kill Beerus,
since he would have said that instead of disappear.

I watched it again and I still agree with all of these points. It's probably on the level of episode 89 for me, which was disappointing in its own way.

I thought this episode was one of the better ones tbh. Really enjoyed the Goku and Freeza interaction, particularly Freeza using Goku's love for fighting against him.

Jerry as shown in his profile just like being a jerry to Beerus and not to nesscirally for his team or helping his chances is more incendental than screwig with beerus. I wonder if he's the guy who beat beerus in arm wrestling

heres my problem with the universe 6 saiyan stuff. Without a doubt they have potential to be way stronger than uni 7's, i mean afterall they're going ssj as if its nothing compared to what the characters in uni 7 went through. but the thing is im completely uninterested in them discovering this because here they are just learning about ssj meanwhile uni 7 already has an ssj form thats equal to the gods.

Also their freiza is lame as fuck too. If they kept him as a super nice dude at least that would have been a fun twist on the character but nope, he's just as big as an asshole as uni 7's.

Honestly, the more we learn about the other universes, the more I wish this wasn't a Battle Royale, but more like the Dark Tournament in YYH.

Feel's like a waste of potential for a 40 minute fight.

40 mins is irrelevant, they could make that last 50 eps if they wanted to

Agree. I bet the royale is only gonna be a few episodes long before the big baddie reveals himself, then onto the next arc.

When Goku offered the Zeno button to Baba I was hoping for some fuckery like Freeza stealing the button off her when she came to pick him up. It'd be too much but I didn't expect him to bring up the button then get played off for a joke.

things I want from Dragon Ball: Goku explaining to Vegeta that some random guy they saw once won the tournament off screen after beating all the potentially powerful guys
