Oh my god thank you god. So glad they acknowledge how well that format works.
Whoever prepared that E3 2016 deserve a raise. I rewatched that conference at least 5 times.

and this too. big announcements for Japanese games at E3? Gaf is going to go crazy with the speculation.
It's kind of crazy that he said all of this in that interview but the backwards compatibility comment was the only one that got a thread lol.

That quote made me think Monster Hunter first though I know it could be about virtually every JP developer/publisher so am not ruling DMC out at all, just was my first thought.
I think he learned through pain how bad it is having to present some lackluster stuff. He improved a lot and so did Sony conferences

I REALLY prefer the way they are doing it last year in both E3 and PSX.
Shows the intro, demo starts, ends with the title.
Everybody freaked out for Uncharted, TLOU2, God of War and even COD IW.

It could be IPs not known for having major appeal considering he listed off NieR in his examples. Also it's far too soon for a new FF game announcement (though that wouldn't stop Square Enix I guess but maybe just maybe they have learnt by now) and RE2 Remake was only green-lit in August 2015 so it it's probably too soon to show it now if Capcom want to once again have a quick (proper) reveal to release like they did with RE7. He's also talking about announcements of new games which RE2 Remake technically isn't since it's been announced.

I don't think they teased much about the actual conference but they did interviews about sales numbers and stuff for pre-E3 week, that was where Andrew House first officially confirmed PS4 Pro's existence.

Never will be as good as Jack Tretton. There was just something about that man that calmed you down and also hyped you at the same time.
It's true. BUT if you remember back to Tretton's early days, he had a shaky performance in the beginning as well. But man did he turn it around with his demeanor and smug
