Dragon Ball Super |OT6| Put your back into it.

Still too soon to make a judgement either way and leaks have been wrong in the past just like those U6 tournaments ones.

I am about 60/40. Although weird things have happened in Super I can't see why
Frieza would join U4 unless they have a way to revived him outside the Dragon Balls. Before someone said 'Super Dragon Balls', Goku offered them to Frieza if he was deemed the MVP, but said no since if he wasn't MVP he would go back to hell. I also wonder if it is legal for other universes to just trade sides.

If the leaks are true I want this to be the title.

the hero we need

So I had a thought, assuming the leaks are real what if
Freeza is going double agent. He knows Goku is too good to not keep his promise, so what if he accepts U4 proposal to join their team only so he can betray them in the tournament, knocking them down to 9 fighters and probably sneak attacking some of their fighters before the reveal that he's not actually working with them. This would also further push the "U7 are the villains" narrative. Freeza playing dirty and essentially giving U7 11 fighters could be an interesting twist.

YOU MONSTER!

Holy crap, that is bizarrely evil and playing with serious fire. It's entirely possible Grand Priest may remove him from existence forever just for pulling a stunt like that. I think the outcome would be very bad and likely lead to some kind of punishment for Universe 7.

Good lord. This fucking mid-arc really should have been a month away.
So this other universe has enough time to kidnap Frieza and take them back and get ready for the tourney in 1.5 hours. Bull fucking shit. I'd believe this Shit if it was at least a week out.
But come the fuck on.

*shrugs, I really hope they are.
Why be bothered? Frieza stays in character, and we still get to see him do shit again. Win win, no?

Not really. I think the people who were fine with Freeza coming back wanted to see him actually forced to work together with Goku and the gang. If they're going to lose Freeza, I would personally hope that Buu wakes up or they get Gotenks instead of adding a joke character like Yamcha who isn't going to amount to shit.

Descriptions are fairly different, they're similar in the sense that anyone could have guessed the basic idea of the episode.
I'm putting this as a point towards the previous leak being fake.

Yeah, and in the "leak" the second episode was supposed to have the U4 God forming some sort of plan, which isn't mentioned anywhere in the Herms translation for that episode.

Them getting the title wrong also sounds like a big red flag to me.

Regardless, I didn't see anyone thinking that plot would be so drawn out.

I've not seen much speculation at all of what episode 95 would be, and I certainly don't know what Japanese fans were speculating. It being a two parter isn't such an out there idea that nobody could have guessed it.

Wait so those "leaks" from before may not be legit?

Hope so. Not sure how I'd feel about Frieza switching universes, the concept of seeing sworn enemies working together in Dragonball is such a unique idea. Don't complicate it further

I think the title leaks for 94/95
purposefully scrub Yamcha mention or the plot to kidnap frieza out specifically to avoid spoilers, but we know now anyway!

I can't see Toei going through the trouble of making this

If he was only going to be on the team for 2 episodes.
Not to mention nothing has been found on the main website yet, and that Freeza picture had been hidden there since late March.

Sworn enemies work together all the time in Dragon Ball, it's nothing new.
Hell, everything up to the Cell arc in Z had the team working with a guy who would kill them if not for the bigger threat (first Piccolo, then Vegeta). It's been done a lot before.

It's new for Freeza's character and would be far better than him becoming a direct antagonist for the third time.

There simply would be no tension if he switched universes considering he hasn't had enough time to get stronger since ROF while Goku and Vegeta and possibly 17 can take him now.

I can take Frieza having a temporary respect for Goku and friends to save their universe, but Frieza isn't redeemable, and anything they try to do to redeem him is factually bad writing,
Because of that him going to U4 could be interesting. It could also be interesting if Goku and Frieza plan something where Frieza joins U4 but is helping U7.

They've already established that he's not redeemable, people need to stop worrying about that.

A big difference between the two 95 descriptions
The previous leak said Goku and Freeza struggle because they can't sense their opponents, but the TV guide says that Freeza is mercilessly slaughtering the assassins.
I think the earlier leak is fake.

Freeza c
an't sense ki in any capacity. So that's the way he's used to fighting. Why would he struggle as much as
Goku
who's super reliant on that ability?

So, what sounds better?

Our Lord and Saviour Freeza!

or

Our Lord and Saviour Yamcha!

The U7 mortals about to get some new heroes in any case :P

Speculation regarding leaks

I have a feeling that Feiza is going to behave ruthlessly and unpredictably the entire match, so it could be that at some point he switches teams in order to accrue temporary advantage. That might lead to his downfall or it might lead to U7 winning, but in not in a way that is acceptable to the rest of the team. That might be a fun angle to take in the tourney. I'm gonna go with an immediate turn being fake but it might ultimately hold some portends for the future.

Non spoilery stuff:

At any rate, I didn't think I'd like Freiza on the team, but I'm warming up to it a bit. If he adds an element of tension to the team that makes them off balance it actually might make for an interesting interplay. Especially if Goku ends up defending him at the expense of trust with his other teammates.
