100m is not that easy, as Shawn say, next 50m is very different, it's about go after wider market. (or milk current user with half gen console)
Price cut will help a lot, casual games like Knack 2, maybe Sony will make some party games.

Not saying it will be, but you have to admit when you look at what PS is doing overall it's aggressive as hell.
If they reach their 17m for this/next year that puts it at 77m+ (shipped?), that leaves 2-3 years to sell 23m.
Plus PS4 seem to keep getting discounted $50 per year, a $199 price point next year doesn't seem impossible.

True.

And they are chasing that. They keep on hammering the third party deals with the biggest and broadest games (they got FIFA globally this year) and they are working on a party game called ''THAT'S YOU!''.

And another big move is on the games they fund. They have mostly big AAA games announced right now, they moved away from smaller projects like the ones they funded a lot on PS3

Looks amazing, and I agree with the Single player point. I only use single player in racing games, so if GT Sport is lacking in this regard it would take a lot to convince me to buy.

If I called any shots at a dev or publisher, I'd hire Sunhi to make my trailers and also gifs for social media

Based off Richard Epcar's tweet? VAs don't really know much at all about the promotional plan of the games they work on, though I guess he could be saying there won't be a date based on him not having done work on it yet. Though VA is often (but not always) done towards the end of development.

I'm not expecting a specific release date, just "2018". I think we will get that.

Lol, no. It was just a fan guess.

But it makes sense that if Borderland 3 exists (something that we don't know) and is coming this year or early 2018, like with the next AC the marketing rights would go for MS, because Sony already has a marketing deal with almost every other big 3rd party AAA game announced for this year.

We do though. They already announced that they were working on the next Borderlands last year. There's not a box art, but it's pretty official at this point. It looked far off when they showed the tech in March though. Which makes sense considering they were putting their full focus on Battleborn(mistake). Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't hit until Spring 2019 or Fall 2018 at the earliest.

Borderlands is a 10+ million franchise. It will take a ton shit of money to secure it, and that bullshit about a deal from last gen makes no sense. Why now and why on one of their big franchises? what was the deal to begin with?
 
IIRC RedgraveKyo does DMC combo videos. Any reason why we should take him commenting on a rumor seriously? Is he someone in the know? What rumors have come true in the past that he's referring to?

Yah rumor feels kinda sketch, will wait for rumors from more credible sources to be hype (well i dont know if he is credible, just dont know him).

He is the community manager for that impressive indie game Lost Soul Aside. Now that doesn't mean that he knows anything, but his status at least makes me more confident that he wouldn't lie about seeing that tweet before it was removed.

Now whether that tweet was true or not.... That's an entirely different story.

Awesome that we're getting gameplay for things left and right. I still remember when God of War 3 closed out E3 with that CGI trailer haha

I don't understand how people can be excited for this. "Yay, we get things they don't for a limited time! That'll be special for 1-6 months or less!"
