Most likely.
I've never played any DQ games (not even spin-offs) but I'm unreasonably hyped about DQXI. I blame EZA for that.

Man, is it just me or is this pre-E3 from Sony super sparse so far? Like, I'm not feeling the hype for the conference at all. We're only a few days out too. I don't think I felt this way last year.

Hmm exact opposite I have no hype as of now for the other two Microsoft has been talking about Scorpio for a year straight and not propping up their games and the direct from Nintendo is 30 minutes with at least 7 of those being mario(treehouse will be a hit tho)

I don't know if last year was different, at least I'm sure people weren't expecting it to top 2015 conference.
This year I think people is more confident that it'll be a good show so, there's no need to hype it that much. Actually I'm just describing how I feel. I'm starting to feel anxious about the whole E3 tho.

Last year everyone was pessimistic because 2015 show was amazing. We had some leaks too last year ( days gone , spider man etc ). This year is different.
I still feel like the conference will be great/amazing but I agree it's been sparse for pre-E3 week Sony stuff. I thought maybe we would see stuff like something for Uncharted Lost Legacy/Knack 2 or something like a Bluepoint remaster announcement (assuming that is attached to Sony, it could not be) considering some of the stuff we got from Sony in pre-E3 week last year/past years.

I was hoping for some smaller game announcements/trailers that likely wouldn't make the stage demo. Stuff like Ratchet & Clank gameplay in years past or a FFXII HD announcement. So far, it's been Hellblade, a FIFA partnership and some sales numbers. Eh.
I'm confident it will be good based of what they're showing but my hype for it isn't that high. I'm skating by this week pretty easily.

We already know some of the stuff they will show, if you're not hyped for those games i can't help you.
Horizon got a trailer in pre-E3 week last year and I think there was some other stuff... Uncharted collection was also announced a week or so before E3 in 2015, along with Ratchet remake trailer/gameplay.

It's almost Friday. Sony is quiet, too quiet. Not even an indie games push on their channel.
We wont see Blue Point's project this week, because if it's either DeS or Shenmue hd remaster, they will be announce during the conference. Same with UC TLL, it's a standalone expansion that conclude the UC series, so it will at least get some spotlight from Sony. This year, we got Dissidea, Hellblade, XII new story trailer, indie title such as Skye, ps4 gold and silver slim, etc.

It's so weird to me that they'd announce a DeS or Shenmue remaster on stage but not announce Uncharted Collection on stage.
In part because of the UC Bluepoint collection being announced before E3 I thought Bluepoint's project could be announced this week but these are more cult classics that not all people would expect to happen/bigger surprises so I guess it makes sense to save them for the conference (again assuming that Bluepoint's project is tied to Sony). I also think DQXI will be announced as Square Enix's last pre-E3 week announcement so it will be a solid pre-E3 week including third parties.
