Sony E3 Conference confirmed for usual time (Monday 6pm PT)

I could see Detroit making it this year. There was a 3 year gap between Heavy Rain and Beyond and a 4 year one from Beyond until now.

We knew RE7 would be there months before when Capcom had their sales projection thingy with RE title releasing early 2017. It having VR was leaked at the last minute.

The only thing I can remember that didn't leak was Crash Remakes (Crash in Skylanders did leak and caused meltdowns when people feared that was all we were gonna get lol). To be fair even then there was confusion if it was a remake or FF7 PC type of deal since we had no footage.

I'm fine with it. If we know nothing going into the conference and then all the bombs drop within a 90 minute time frame, I welcome the shellshock.
 
Didn't the B team just finish working on DS3? So if there was a Sony exclusive you'd think it'd come from team A and knowing Miyazaki never worked on a souls sequel there can't be BB2 right?
 
Event Threads are better off without trains. Yes they're fun, but derail the thread with "Ticket plz!!" posts. Plus last time a Sony thread got a train, the thread got closed.

Comfortably in cruise-mode. Lots of updates to games to come we know about (and are excited about) and maybe a few surprises. Relax and put your feet up. ;)

Nothing really depressing. We know Spider-Man, days gone, God of war etc will be there.

Ms is hyping up their new box. That's where a lot of the hype is coming from.

What's been teased? Saw the Banjo-Kazooie thing, but that already got shot down by the tweeter apparently.

Also, forgot just how much I hate hype trains in threads, so many "put me on hype trains" post.

Nothing weird about that, they are looking forward to a new hardware revision and there's been little to no Sony leaks. I'm personally glad there's been minimal leaks so far as I like being surprised watching it live, hopefully it'll stay that way until the show starts.

Anyway I'm pretty stoked to see more of GoW, this is SSM's moment to show us what they can do with PS4's hardware. Possibly seeing Suckerpunch's new IP and a new FROM Software game is intriguing too.
 
I think what has a lot of people spooked is not knowing what *new* things Sony will announce. When you start seeing a list of stuff we've already known about and/or were shown last E3, it's easy to feel like they don't have much new so they're going to just spend their time giving us more details on those known titles.

I will say that Sony does have a habit of doing the good>okay>good>okay>good cycle with their conferences, and seeing as last year's was amazing I'm not getting my hopes up.

Either way I want more Days Gone and GoW info and I hear (i think?) Matterfall will be there too. So regardless it's going to be substantial for me personally.

As others have said, anything else is just icing on the cake.

PS- I hope TGS this year blows is away.

Are you saying 2015 was ok?
That conference was like fanfiction. It was like those fake lists that appear pre-E3 coming true.

We have still to play 2 of the major games announced there but still, the conference itself I wouldn´t dare call ok.

Well, MS in going to launch a new piece of hardware after all... I'd be worried if fans are not hyped.

On Sony's side, outside of Sucker Punch we can't surely anticipate anything new but what's already announced is way too much. Even if people is not shouting at every side, we all know that there are a lot of big games that are confirmed to be present and they look spectacular.

What else could we do but to wait?

Hmm now that you mention it I think it was pretty good in hindsight but maybe I'm just comparing it to the last conference which I loved.

I guess I'm just needlessly worrying about Sony not getting three good shows in a row. You're right though. I think the good>okay cycle was definitely in full swing during the last gen though wouldn't you say?

I don´t remember last gens conferences a lot apart from some moments.
 
Hard not to laugh reading this thread. Dudes in here are nervous because one group of fanboys are more excited than they are.

I'm glad that there aren't any big leaks at all. Makes the conference more exciting. We already know a lot of the titles going in so I can see why people are holding back their expectations more than hyping up.
