I really can't say why a showing of TLoU bothers you. Are you really dependant on hype?

Nah, I just think it's too early and would detract from game dev time too much to put something together. By the time TLOU II has gameplay demos, it'll still be a couple of years off and I feel it's better to show it then when we have a concrete idea about where the game is headed.

For me, the perfect Sony showing is how they revealed God of War and Horizon. Trailer into gameplay or just short intro into gameplay. The game is concrete and well into dev, so multiple showings don't bother me because I have a very clear idea about the actual game.

Something like TLOU II? I don't need to be reminded it exists or get hyped up by a new trailer. Sony has so many games to show, TLOU II could skip this E3 and this PSX and really blow socks off with a reveal next year.

It feels unnecessary to add excitement to the conference given the rest of their lineup.

I think TLOU2 announcement was great. It let´s ND work without much secrecy.
With that said, right now I hope they go dark for a year. Come back next year with gameplay, then another showing at PSX18 and we good.

I know you probably think Spider-Man will be the best thing outta the conference

You're wrong it's days gone

Good one.

Spider-Man will steal the show, unless Sucker Punch´s new game is something bat shit insane like Horizon´s robot dinos.
GOW I think has already had it´s 15 minutes last year.

They'll both have great showings im sure, but i'm really excited to see some of the more interesting stuff from Days Gone. Like the stuff that SolidSnakeX is always posting :P

Kids, kids... you're all wrong. God of War will be best thing.

Fine, and God of War.

It's crazy how distinct all of these high profile exclusive PS4 games are and I'm sure most people will buy all 3 of them.

I'm VERY excited for Days Gone mainly because of the setting will include town area, underground and stuff. A world that is actually dangerous, constantly being threatened by super fast running hordes of zombies, scavenging, open world. It's a dream game to me.

Plus, we know absolutely nothing about Sucker Punch unlike Horizon. That will make their reveal all the better.

What I really want is from GOW is for SSM to prove that the over-the-shoulder camera is able to complement fucckhueg boss fights. We got a glimpse at the change in tone last year and I think now is the perfect chance for a blowout.

From Software though.

And hopefully DQXI announcement.

Fromsoft will probably steal the show.

Some dude was saying that he doesnt believe From is going to be there. Which would suck but I wouldnt be surprised considering their output over the past few years has been incredible. They are kinda due for a short delay in the dev cycle, especially since they are creating a completely new IP.

Hopefully Armored Core is there at least. I can get behind that.

I think God of War and Spiderman will tie. But I want Days Gone to steal the show. Some intense weather/day-night/survival action could do the trick.

I do think if they go the survival route (aka, no infinite ammo this time), chances to impress with the demo go up considerably.

SP will show the game they've been working on?
I hope it's up my alley. Really loved the Infamous series, and wouldn't mind seeing another hero game from them.

Man, everyone is throwing in their hat about a particular game. Maybe it'll be something we haven't seen before. Of the announced titles, I think Spiderman has the greatest chance of stealing the show. We haven't seen much of it so I think it won't have that "we've seen this already" feeling that will likely be felt after the lengthy demos of Day's Gone and God of War of last year. I know Kojima has claimed that we won't be seeing Death Stranding but I think he's intentionally misleading everyone to create more of a surprise when it does appear. I think TLoU2 fits into that same category. Sucker Punch is most likely demoing their game and Dreams will probably have one final blowout here. I'm honestly hoping for a Miyazaki Armored Core to steal the show.

Kids, kids... you're all wrong. God of War will be best thing.

I'm with this person. My most anticipated game of Sony's conference.

Honestly not excited about most of the "known" stuff beyond it. I don't like Spiderman at all, but the studio behind it I love....so torn there.

This is the first year that I've had very little interest in what Sony have to offer.

Now that uncharted 4 and horizon are out there isn't really anything in looking forward to other than Shenmue 3 and tlou 2 but those won't be shown.

Days gone is the only remaining game that looks even slightly interesting to me.

Could be because I dropped out of gaming just after mgs2 and doesn't return until 4 so gow doesn't interest me and well spiderman.... I grew out of that about 7 years old.

Edit: just remembered detroit. I'll keep an eye on that one.
