If it also has an OLED screen and other fancy things to make it feel expensive, I wouldn't mind.
Not expecting to have the money to buy it at launch even at $399 though.
I'm all in price be damned at this point.

it's prob worth $450 to me at this point, but really want to spend $400
7 minutes is 2 demos or multiple 2 minute trailers

In regards to your question, I hope it's 399, but a trade in program will take the sting off.
Not DOA, but kills momentum by taking quite a bit of wind out of their sails (sales).
499$ scorpio with sony cutting prices for slim and pro would be catastrophic, better graphics or not
i really hope that doesnt happen because microsoft or stores never offered trade-ins in my country and used xboxes sell for peanuts here
