Can't believe it's only a day away now! Just gotta finish this work day, and the rest of the day is gonna fly by. Hoping those leaks stay plugged, cuz I can't stop checking game sites lol. Totally forgot about the game, but I hope Path of Exiles gets a release date. Anyone that likes Diablo type games NEEDS to put that game on their radar. It's the best one I've played AND it's f2p. Don't let that scare you away tho, it's amazing.

MS doesnt do that alot really also. Horizon 3 was showed last year in a trailer and then came the studio head with gameplay. Same for Killer Instinct first trailer then studio head and for Sea of Thieves also.

I swear I must be lucky as hell because I've been in the preview program day 1 (three years ago?) and I've never had issues. I pretty much have nothing on my laptop besides Office 365 and all my apps are from the store so it doesn't gunk up my laptop.

Yeah that came out of the blue and was very nicely done. I am not even a fan of KI but that part had me going "oh shit, now that is nice." for the fans that is.

Imagine if they'd do that for Banjo. The show would be going for about 5 minutes in and out of the blue they play one of Banjo's well known sounds, for sure that plenty of media folk still love Banjo. It would be received with plenty of cheering for sure.

Start with Crackdown 3, then Forza 7 & Horizon running 4k, leading into full reveal.

If they show off some amazing titles showing off graphical power at the start, everything else just falls into place if they price it well.

My biggest complaint with the 'now playing' view is that it shows a blown up, blurred album if an artist picture isn't present.

Sometimes it looks good, but other times... I wish we could supply our own artist pictures, or album view would display all albums in your collection as a sort of montage like Zune did. Also note that the picture is off centre, an update broke that :/

I swear I must be lucky as hell because I've been in the preview program day 1 (three years ago?) and I've never had issues. I pretty much have nothing on my laptop besides Office 365 and all my apps are from the store so it doesn't gunk up my laptop.

I actually have no issues at all, and I beta test extensively even at work, but multiuser switching always caused problems on my baby. I don't know if it's a rogue driver, but reinstalling Windows is a pain. I'll just wait for the next build.

That's a shame. Yeah MS sure ruined things back then and they are finally recovering from it. I remember the articles back then before Xbox One was announced, or well the leaks that claimed the PS4 was the console for the gamer all the way and Xbox One not quite as much. A lot of bad decisions back then.

I wonder how things would have looked if the Xbox One had been the Scorpio since day one, presented like a real console with gamers in mind. Would PS4 still have been this far ahead or not nearly as much? Even if the bad decisions had not been made, it's no secret that the last few years of 360 were nothing to write home about with only Halo 4 i think being the exception, I for one loved that game.

It's only one year later, and it's clear that Microsoft has continually tried to set higher prices this gen only to be forced to reduce them later.

Console prices don't typically drop as fast as people are now expecting. What normally happens is consoles get replaced with higher capacity hard drive versions to maintain the price. The PS4 Pro killed that strategy for MS because they couldn't have a base console priced so close to the much higher spec'd Pro. That's placed a ceiling on how high MS could price the Xbox One and forced the entire price line down. Scorpio isn't going to have that problem so does not have to follow the S in its price fall.

Another thing to note is Scoprio is not going to release at a sale price. The $199 predictions for the S if true will be a holiday sale price. People are incorrectly trying to base the entire Xbox One MSRP line around that temporary price. Scorpio dwill release high and then drop price as needed. It's cray if not going to release at a Black Friday price point.

The question being asked is whether Phil's comments were juxtaposing Xbox 1 S 2016 launch price with the Scorpio 2017 launch price or the prices of the two devices when they exist in the market together. Given the context of his statement, it seems to me that the latter is the safer assumption.

I really hope so but regarding Witcher 3. Wouldn't that require CDPR to update the game? They did say they were done with Witcher 3 so I'm not sure how that'd work out.

I would love that. Definitely watching all the daily shows. They never truly reveal any groundbreaking new things but it's always enjoyable to watch.

The great thing about Scorpio however is, even without dev input there will be improvements in older games. I believe games that have a dynamic resolution will automatically scale to the maximum resolution possible on Xbox One which is 1080p,right? But also things like loading times and effects, AF will be added?
