I know sports is still very important to EA but is it really a large part of their overall profit? This is the pov from a clear non-sports gamer so I guess I just never really notice the impact they have overall.

Jesssssus, way tooo much fat on this presentation. They really need to learn how to pace and streamline a presentation.
They should use Sony's conference last year as a base and keep cutting from that. It should be all about quick looks at lots of games with a few select extended looks. Not long speeches and PR bullshit sandwiches by mediocre trailers.

E3 is off to a FANTASTIC start, minor changes to existing franchises like Madden, REVOLUTIONARY things like a map pack for BF 1, and SO MANY buzzwords you're likely to choke.

Leave it to EA to start E3 with a snore.

I'm not NOT excited about some of these games but the way they present them like they are some incredible revolution that will change gaming forever makes me want to puke a little.

They must have a generic trailer generator

They have 3 to 5 patterns they use for everything including the nonames esports worldwide stars

yes? like FIFA in Europe sells a shit ton all over the year.

We´re all masochists and gluttons for punishment! Same snooze fest every year but we still turn up! Every year it´s the same thing! :D

This seems fine so far, looks to me like GAF is looking for stuff to critique

They're always looking for the bad stuff, or stuff they aren't interested in. Sports events aren't for GAF I have gathered through the years.

But this FUT Championship looks great.

FIFA 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tbh I always forget madden and fifa have an esports thing going on. Like I don't hear anyone ever talking about them except at EAs conferences.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places for it tho.

With microtransactions from FIFA and Madden Ultimate Team? Most likely a huge chunk
