Romeo is a Dead Man - Reviews Thread

Finally beat this second boss. I could get him down to like 1/4th of his health flawlessly just to have him smack me around right before dying, over and over.
Anyone else enjoying the hell out of this game? Super charming and old school in the best ways.
An OT was created for it:

I'm enjoying it, I'm roughly 10 hours in.

When a beloved small time developer (Grasshopper Manufacture) gets into bed with a big company (Netease), much could go wrong. With the closing of Nagoshi Studios and the silent cancellation of Gang of Dragon at the hands of parent company Netease, how was it that Romeo Is a Deadman managed to ride on unscathed? Romeo is a Deadman, but is he a GOODman? Let's look at what we almost lost and ponder what could have been.

Romeo is a Dead Man is an absolute triumph of style and creativity over budget. Netease's investment in it would have been relatively modest.

A big budget was necessary for Gang of Dragon. GhM can work magic without that.

I thought It wasn't particularly good. A very noticeable downgrade form NMH3 in every single category I can think of and even more nonsensical than the usual (and that's saying a lot).

I really hope Grasshopper takes a more interesting turn for their next game.

I gotta finish this. I'm towards the end. I love the bastards system. I just don't like the non-combat areas in the TVs. I get they had to break up the pace but it should have been something better.
