That's the hook. That you and a friend are seeing the same story being told simultaneously through different characters' eyes.

I realize that. I'm just someone who usually treats games as "me time", and prefers solo experiences. I do commend for sticking to co-op, though. Usually, when you try to balance co-op and single-player together, you have to make concessions for one or the other. So, more power to them, even if it's somewhat of a turn of for folks like me.
