Man, the Xbox and PS threads are night and day in terms of tone. Everyone is so hyped and having a good time over there and all I see here is anxiety. What's going on guys?

I feel like this it how it's been every year. Microsoft is constantly hyping and teasing, while Sony keeps their head down and lets their show speak for itself.

It doesn't help that we don't have Shinobi to tease us Sony fans this year either.

With the concert trailer, and teasing of D23 in July, I would keep expectations in check for -anything- KH3 at Sony's presser now.

It doesn't help that we don't have Shinobi to tease us Sony fans this year either.

We're missing a ton of hype posters this year somehow.

True, this is how it usually goes. Not even talking about the quality of the conferences either. Just that, in general, MS gets louder as E3 approaches and Sony gets more quiet. It is just how they roll.

There new project is not ready (As of February). It's unlikely.

I'm just hoping for a CGI teaser to reveal the setting/plot.

They announced a multi-platform game with PSVR functionality in a trailer for a "2017 - " release. I'm guessing we will see that.

Even with Shinobi teasing, I was still very skeptical going into Sonys show last year. But Sony ended up blowing me away. Like myself, I think Sony fans keep their expectations in check. We're usually hyped post-Sony Conference.

People were tripling down, then double that, and triple it again for Switch price being $249.
Anyway Scorpio $499 will be the logical price. $399 will be VERY competitive for PlayStation even if they don't have any games to show because the amount of people who only cares about hardware is a lot.

Millions of people enjoy the franchise and want to see as much footage as possible before it releases, Activision has a game to market and Sony a partnership to "use". It's also one of the biggest new IP's this gen. Can't have it all Waldo

This has always been the thing for every single hardware reveal. Everybody is very confident with the rumored price, thinks it's logical and eventually finds out, oh yea stuffs are still expensive.
Oculus Rift - $399 ballpark, reveal $599
PSVR - $300, reveal $399
Switch - $249, reveal $300

Miyazaki/FROM have told us no more Dark Souls/Bloodborne for now. They've stated they're working on Armored Core and a new IP.

Bloodborne could theoretically be there... with another director/developer. Who would want that?

I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it just doesn't make sense to me to "leak" something so huge before a press conference, more so when it's done by someone so well known in the industry.

I see as a win/win situation, if it's 399$ MS will get more media push about the price and people will be happy and forget about the tweet.

But whatever I don't want to derail this topic, I just need more info on Dreams :'(

I can say that beyond a doubt that Fromsoft is not currently developing nor planning a Bloodborne Sequel or specifically any kind of Bloodborne successor. Like, beyond any doubt. This was confirmed by Miyazaki in 2016 and reiterated in early 2017 along with being independantly confirmed to me.
I'm not a sony insider so I've no information on what Sony Japan may or may not be doing with the IP. I just know for a fact Fromsoft isn't involved with any such title.

Everything else I post is vague out of respect for my source and their job.

That and I don't have all that much to go on anyway.

No anxiety here at all. Sony has Spider-Man PS4, that's all I want. Sony won E3 2017 for me already.

They could be showing a 5 minute Spidey demo followed by ridge racerrrrrr or $599 type of bombas I couldn't care less cause I got my Spidey fix.

Now if they ONLY show a new trailer and no gameplay footage for the Spidey game... that's when the show instantly bombs for me.
